  • could it be a lewistic magpie?

  • @newworldordersmasher Its a female satin bower bird with a genetic condition i think is called leucism.

  • looks like a dove

  • i once had a phoenix bird as a pet, but it died as it was so damn rare that i could not find anothe one to keep her company......

  • @kingsblendstrain

Sad , but they do have resurrection powers :)

  • @PYTHAGORAS101 how do all these random birds end up at your house?

  • @IHeArTrOcK20

The birds are regular visitors to the feed station outside my lounge window .

I also "hand" feed food scraps to the magpies ,currawongs and bower birds .

The bird you see here "blondie" has been visiting everyday for 3 years.

  • Thx ,the birds around here have 2B on their toes because it is very likely that they will be swooped and chased by magpies .

  • I'm always amazed at how observant birds are, like a caffine overload 24/7.

  • you should try and follow it, see if it has friends.

  • Thanks , your right ,if it was a new species ,there would be others near by .

I am leaning more and more to it being a one off female albino satin bowere bird .

After 7 yrs females become male (solid satin blue/black ). I'm wondering if this one is going to be solid white .

This bird comes every evening (because i feed it ) .

    i wish i knew its age .

I'll be putting out more close up vids soon of Blondie feeding with king parrots and other bower birds .

    cheers .

  • Just looked at my copy of Neville Cayley's what bird is that and cant see any bowerbirds with the same colouring could be a albino or new species have you contacted national parks and wildlife? You might have a new species named after you thanks for the excellent vid.Geoff

  • Thanks mate , i appriciate your comment .
