  • i'd have to say after getting my kelpie from a shelter 3 months ago, there are not many other breeds that i would want to own. I think they are the best.

  • @WalliInHell My first dog was an 8 yr old Kelpie. They are definitely my favorite breed. Free spirit :)

  • CLEVER THATS WAT UR DOG IS CLEVER CAN I BOROW HIM FOR MY EXAMS

  • @TheHowler51 You can now, I've just finished some assessment with him myself - had to pick up rubbish and put it in the bin, touch an object on command and detect tea bags from one out of six containers. What exams are they?

  • cool thanks 4 posting..

hey umm im thinking of getting one ,

    recommend??

what are the pros and cons??

  • @wallacelux They're great dogs.... all different. Shaka is a working dog and a bit standoffish. I have two others (kelpie and koolie x australian shephard) who are real smoochers. They are awesome dogs, they want to be part of your life tho :)

  • oh, what a cute dog :) I have a bordercollie/kelpie mix myself who's 6 months and both of his parents as well :)

  • Haha cute. Yes the beg is quite hard, watch a few vids on youtube. My kelpie is much better at his tricks but ive only taught him 2 more Talk, and spin. Once i get more tricks ill do another video!

  • Thanks, I think he's about 13 weeks here (same as urs? - Kelpie?) He's 4.5 months now and I'm trying to get him to do the "beg" - getting there, slowly.

  • Cool vid and nice dog,, How old is he?
