  • I have also played a version with a goblin or something like this

  • WTF? Why is this the same game as Bugs Bunny Crazy Castle 2. This is the third same game after Hugo and Bugs Bunny. I dont know the sense.

  • I'm so miss this game...

  • wait a minute isnt this pretty much the exact same thing as bugs bunny's crazy castle and aint both mickey and bugs completely competetive?

  • Good times :)

  • The final boss looks like a guy named Lord Grouglath, the evil archenemy in a cartoon called Super Strapper, created by myself.

  • It's annoying to enter doors for keys it's a useless waste of time and space. Why not just lay the shit out like in the first game?

  • How old is this?

  • Everything gets old naturally. What do you mean by how?

  • my grandfather got me one back in 1990 on a business trip when I was 3 years old.

  • @Batamon1997 Hes trying to say Dark age.

  • Wow this game is just so much better. It has an actual ending not a bullshit still and an actual boss fight.

  • It's just funny how Mickey Mouse was created stateside and non of us living in the US had access to this superior version of the game back then.

  • Mickey Mouse > Bugs Bunny, I'm gonna find a Euro english version of this game and trash my bugs bunny one.

  • che ricordiiii!!!!

  • Holy shit... This is just like the Bugs Bunny Crazy Castle 2, and I've never heard of this game!! All the passwords and music are the same and the only thing that's changed is the title, characters, and 1ups!!! O_o

    The final boss looks cooler though imo, howcome I never knew about this game? ;_;

  • music reminds me of pokemon

  • No Pokemon. You are barricaded until after your expiry date.

  • Fuck. When you look at it. Mickey Mouse was apparently a 100% licensed bad ass. Explosive expert/Marksmen Pro Archer who traverses an endless maze just so he can grab his girl. Shoot 3 arrows into the chest of an all powerful wizard. All the while running at full speed with no rest rationing on nothing but stale moldy cheddar. Christ he turns an antique bomb into a proximity mine. Then jumps from cloud to cloud killing mutant snails! Mickey Is my new hero :P

  • Awesome, thanks for posting this. :)

Back when I was a kid I could never beat the last level. I came really close once, died close to the exit, never played it again :P

    Great to see the ending.

  • i very love this game

  • omg that stage is hard. never have beaten it :((( but my mom did. what kind fucking sense does that make xD

  • hahaha...

how many times i played with it..

my favorite level was 11 or 12 with pass: zoom maybe

    thanks for share...

  • this game is so friggin hard...i love it

  • I played this so many times, it's nice to know other people were also addicted to this game :D

Thanks for posting this so I could watch the end again... :)

  • Wow, I'm so glad I'm not the only one who loved this game! LOL you made stage 28 look really easy XD

  • Thank you.

  • In japan it was Mickey Mouse but when it was released in the states it had to changed to Bugs Bunny because Capcom owned the Disney licence in U.S.

  • Very good research!

  • Ah, no wonder why Kenco had to change everything so that this game can see the oversees market. I was doing my own research as well. You are right. (It was done doing a compairison of a ROM of Mickey Mouse II and an actual game cartage of Bugs Bunny Crazy Castle 2. The game play, tiles, font, and music are exactly the same. Also, here is one of the sprite changes: Maleficent = Yosamity Sam. Also, what I don't get is that the two games have different values. Why is that?

  • ooh my god, how old is it!! it's very funny to look it back, i loved it!

  • Mickey Mouse/ Bugs Bunny Crazy Castle 2 was made in 1991. Meaning it is 18 years old.

  • Eh, a tear almost went down my face when I was watching this video... thx for posting this, spent lots of time with this game when I was younger :) great memories :)

  • No problem. I love this game a lot too ~_^

  • great game except for the stairs trick which looks pretty ridiculous.

  • whoa! talk about old! it's like mario old!

  • ... what?

  • Is there any difference between this and Bugs Bunny Crazy Castle 2 for Game Boy? The look and sound identical... except for Mickey in place of Bugs.

I hear talk there's also a Garfield game like this floating around out there.

Yikes! I thought you were duped when you missed that one snail! Mickey hates snails!

  • Nah, your take on this is the same as mine. Thanks for watching!

  • And in Bugs' take on this game, the enemies are various Looney Tunes characters.

  • I have the Bugs Bunny version for game boy, it is identical in every way to this, music and level design, only differences being Mickey and the other disney characters replacing the Looney Tunes characters.

  • So which came first? The Bugs or Mickey version?

Also, why did they decide to use two different licences for an identical game?
