pretty standard, move the rear springs to the front, move front axle forward to make it all fit, and 63" chevy springs in the back.

is that a stock steering setup ? or is it a high steer ? because ive looked at the j-bar style steering and it looks like itd break with some aggressive wheelin?

No, it's a 1985 4Runner

We only call the 1983 and older "hilux".

I think overseas, they still call their Toyota pickups Hilux.

I do have trouble with steering. One issue is in this video, the tires hit the firewall and locked up the steering, the other is simply lack of steering power for what I'm doing. I have fixed the firewall issue and that helped.

Thanks, yeah, rears up front and chevy springs in the rear. Stock tranny\TC, don't really need any lower gears for Iowa.
