well at least they rescheduled the gig - last year The Rolling Stones cancelled a gig cos Mick Jagger was poorly and they didn't reschedule and they're supposed to be one of the best bands in the world (apart from The Killers of course)! If you're of the mindset that anybody sick should automatically cancel shows, that's your perogative, though fans would resent him for that too. When it comes down to it, though, brandon tries to fit as many shows in as possible, he's sung through sickness before. Sometimes you think you can sing and then two songs later you realize you can't do it. He's only done this twice in his career, so cut him some slack.

I am not a killers fan, and I don't really dig them. But all the people bashing the fans need to stop. I only hear one bitch saying "fuck you", meanwhile everyone else seems pretty quiet, and actually cheer when the drummer says they will be back. Obviously everyone is upset but one stupid baby girl yelling fuck you does not represent what the other thousands were doing at the time.

We were at Red Rocks Thursday night and had spent hours in line to be up front, and spent a LOT more than tickets (parking was free) to fly in from out of State, get a hotel, rental car etc. We still love The Killers and know they'd never have canceled without a valid reason and we'll go back September 4 'cause seeing them at that venue is thrilling beyond compare. The few people I saw who were yelling obscenities and insults at the band were drunk.

Either way, I think it's wrong to tell 10,000 people in the crowd who spent upwards $50 on tickets and at least an additional $20 for parking/transportation that the show is over, meaning they WILL NOT get refunds because they did get to see part of it. It's ridiculous that the Killers and their management are pocketing the money of their fans without delivering a full show, making them pay it all over again for the "make-up" show, whether he's sick or not.

Parking at Red Rocks is included in the price of the ticket; they even have a free shuttle going back and forth to two different gates for those who have a handicap. A statment on Red Rocks official website says, "ALL tickets for the original show WILL be honored for the rescheduled date on September 4th! Refunds are also available at the point of purchase." Please give the boys a little more credit.

My apologies, at the venue I was originally told that I would not be refunded my money for Thursday's show and I would have to buy new tickets to the September one. But I was contacted by Ticketmaster today and learned otherwise. And by parking/transportation, I did know parking was included in the price, but with the price of gas, Red Rocks is not necessarily close. It took us a good 40 minutes to get there from Centennial.

As a singer, I know that you can sound okay for a couple of songs even though you are having throat problems, but you dont want to push it further bc of MORE damage.
