Hey so i was going to get a shell and with the old on i was going to put a hole on front of it and c if that work's.I will let u no what happins

Take a piece of sponge, this way you can raise the cam 1 or 2 cm. Sponge is light, shock absorbing and we all have them.
I have a damaged canopy myself, have to follow your plan.
Still have it mounted on my LiPo.
Have some neoprene under it now. When I wanna shoot more down I just fold the neoprene at the end ones or twices.
A mounting away from the centre of the heli will encounter more fibes was my idea. Just an idea no science however :))
