Red solar energy weakness -- so lame. No need to neuter Superman, just through villains powerful enough to take him on at him. I loved it when the Loeb team did away with that vulnerability as well as decreased Kryptonite's effectiveness on him. They focused on creating credible threats instead, which was great. Since then everything has stunk in my opinion. It's all been so bad. Pity.

You know, I love Superman and all, but you'd think from all the times someone has shot him with some sort of kryptonite beam or bullet or whatever, he'd be a little less cocky around guns and a little more cautious. I mean, for God's sake, he has see-through vision, and reflexes that almost passes human understanding. At least dodge the thing just in case!

@DustinFarleyTV I think Superman is a little more cautious around villains he knows, so for example, if he faced Lex Luthor, his common sense would be telling him to be on the look-out for kryptonite or kryptonite weapon variants. Also, if he met a thug with a gun, he wouldn't really think of dodging the bullets "just in case" they were kryptonite bullets because it'd be highly unlikely a thug would have the means to access kryptonite bullets.

And Superman is much more of a pussy in this episode than I would expect him to be as I thought the only thing that could reduce his power was Kryptonite.

As for Kryptonite, that stuff can actually kill him, not just reduce his powers.

He's also vulnerable to magic. (And may or may not be vulnerable to large amounts electricity/energy, physical force on his own level of strength and some exotic high tech weaponry. But all of that depends.)

@chailizard The entire idea behind aikido or judo is to use the opponents weight against them. Using his shoulder as a focal point, Batman had bane at an angle where gravity did most of the work and Batman only needed to apply a minimal force in the proper direction.
