  • I just love you, your kitchen and the cooking..I love cooking and I cant wait to have my own kitchen!!!.....Thumbs up..I wish I could meet you and have cooking lessons with you...:)

  • Sounds yummy but I'd like to see the food as you work with it and the end product too.

  • pls what is the purpose of the bay leaves? still don't understand its use in recipes

  • @TUgonna The Bay Leaves adds a delicate fragrance to the dish that has traditionally served as a signature to great Jollof rice (This is a coconut Jollof rice dish). Thanks for watching and keep cooking!

  • Thank you for the cooking lesson, I love coconut rice. But please don't use any type of plastic as it's chemically processed which the food absorbs. Foil is a better option but not the best either. I found that using a rice cooker is a good option, but adds more steps to the final result.

  • I love your kitchen.

  • Looks Yummy!!!

  • i wish you showed how the final result looked on a plate.

    sounds yummy.

  • omg i hear Sunny Ade!!! love him! :D

  • Maggi crevet is my BEST!!!!

You make me love cooking more and more!

  • Yes! you are awesome!!!!!!

I am from Cameoon.I love your tutorial.

  • Can you please give me some tips. You said three red peppers. did you slice one red bell pepper into three parts or did you take three bell peppers entirely and use it? and when you say three quarters onion? did you use three quarters of one onion?

  • @iroc31407 It appears that she used 3 roasted red peppers. You can usually find them in a jar and they appear flat due to already being cooked. 3/4 of an onion is 3/4 of ONE onion, but of coarse onion sizes vary.

  • i watch this at like 2 at night an i dont have an way of getting naija food

  • love this!!! I want more!!!

  • I love the King Sunny Ade playing in the background. lol!

  • @fancy1208 thankyouu..;)

  • omg i remember grating coconuts too...we've come a long way!!thx god for canned coconut milk!

  • Was that Cayenne pepper?

  • I wonder if parchment paper could be used insead of the plastic bag.

  • The BEST coconut rice is the EFIK recipe! We don't use tomatoes, nor curry, nor thyme, but we use dried cray fish,(not the CUBED VARIETY!), smoked, as well as fresh fish! It's authentic, traditional, and......DELICIOUS!!!!

  • @vixxy02 Late reply, but thats how my mom makes it, even though i am ibo, she went to school at UNical and she learned a lot, her afang soup is the bessst! But i love coconut rice

  • @RimzyPink ibo ehh
