I added the 2 songs that my friend had of Albert too. Anyone see him on Canadian Idol ? He was on 2 actually. They were back to back. He did alright one time, the following yr he didn't do as well.... Oh well. He has a cd out now :) My friend told me that you gotta look for it, or ask.

Albert Lariviere is a pretty good singer. He sings (or @ least used to) sing @ grads. He sang @ my grad. He was my schoolmate :P lol. Wasn't in his class or anything but I believe we're close in age. I found out bout this vid tonight cuz I saw this newsfeed/update thing on my facebook & my friend had it on his or whatever. Figured I should look it up online.

Hey depper,
Albert was on CANADIAN (not American) idol and he is hardly a teeny-bopper. You oughta see him do his original stuff. In fact, this video was of him opening for the Juno award winning Winnipeg band Eagle and Hawk at the Watson Arts Centre. Albert is opening for the D Rangers tonight at an event in support of the same 101-year old arts centre. Check out some of his other videos before you judge too harshly.

I ALMOST RAN when I saw this American Idol teeny-bopper tryin to do this Elvis classic. However, I am impressed. It shows that Elvis music in its rawest form, still means something to American youth today. Great job
