Because of our heavy weight, high altitude & temperature we set full power before brake release in order to accelerate at full power from the start. if we slowly advance power while rolling (common when runway length is not a concern) we use more runway.
Those engines are lycoming 502 or 507?

We were cleared the HBU transition but once above 16,000' we were given direct HBU
