@TheJamie5000 - this is a great version of Still Got The Blues. The bit of the solo at 4:33 is still a minor, it sounds 'soulful' because of the underlying chord at that moment (Dmin7) making the A minor D Dorian mode. You don't have to understand it really, just let your ears judge - I've done a simplified version of this tune trying to focus on the melodic feel of the chords throughout. It's not as technically anywhere near as good as doghousedaves though!!
I must be stupid because I have a digitech rp500 and I just can't get a good gary moore tone... The fault must be the amp that is a small solid state...
im gunna post a vid response to this, i improvised this song backing track never hearing the original before i recorded my video, loved the backing track and started to jam with it, its not garry but my style i guess!! what do ya think? im going to cover the original soon!
I've got one as well and it is truley the best guitar I have ever owned and I have had a bunch of em. I would LOVE to see it and hear you play it. You are a very good guitar player so lets check that bad boy out.
Never too late mate! I know this 75 year old guy who has only been playing a couple of years and he's amazing. He really has the time to dedicate to it and more importantly, the passion.
we just watched 15 of your vids, fantastic, your passion for the guitar shows in your playing. Appciate you sharing your talent! best wishes paul & deb
hey! thanks a LOT for sendin me this vid i absolutely LOVE ur tone and feeling. what type of guitar is that? it seems to play just as good as a les paul! gosh id love one of those! and u have a very similar way of thinking to me in terms of improvising, i wudve done something quite like that, not as gd as you though! u rock
Dave you could'nt be in the doghouse after playing that,Nope.Looks like your having a lot of fun. The balance between the backing track and the vocals was weak but the guitar came through fantastic..My sub whoofer has gone and that could be the problem, anyway you were great.Cheers BBSB300
Wonderful playing and tone! Your guitar passed the LP litmus test with flying colours. It looks like an H-150 with the pickguard removed. What model is it exactly? Any advice when shopping for a Heritage? Thanks.
Thanks, yeah it's a 150 with the scratchplate off, just try before you buy ,acousticly as well as powered up,but having played a few I haven't come across a bad one yet they are truly amazing guitars and probably more les paul than my les paul if you get my drift.
I have no words to explain this feeling, that's what i call playing with feeling

hey, do you how the H-140 compare to the H-150 Les Paul?
Because it looks to me that the only real difference is the inlays which are dots on the H-140.
Do you actually own a guitar shop? Because that's what I thought when I saw it the fist time :D
You're an amazing blues player man.
Well done
