  • "Literally" repetition is a form of conversational mind control.

  • The Amway stuff is scary enough in the west. In China, it's worse. People from country towns get promised good money in "jobs" by relatives who are already drinking the kool-aid, and when they get to the distant town, the recruiters take their money and passports, and force them to recruit their own friends and family.

It happened to my mother-in-law in 1996, she barely got out after realising that their stories didn't really fly. Now my wife's aunt is being held, uncle planning rescue.

  • So true.

  • Thank you...your point of view is very helpful. I found Amway to be very confusing. I had too many unanswered questions. I stayed for just about a month. I can not sell a lifestyle that I am not willing to live. Deceit and false friendship have no place in my life.

  • I remember when I was instructed to get people in Amway I was told not to tell people it was Amway.

  • Thank you for posting this interview, it is eye-opening and oh so very important. People should really watch all 3 parts.
