@eddiechinglives I didn`t say you did it wrong, it`s correct, but there is nothing amazing about it, it is a very easy beginner perspective. I`m sorry for the misunderstanding!
It was a long time ago. Probably 20 minutes. I am cheating perspectively by the way. It's technically 3 vanishing points, but I'm making one parallel so I don't have to worry about the other vanishing point. 1pt.perspective-city city from tomatodragon is way better.
Does anyone use a pencil anymore? You're not gonna learn by using a computer program. Get a ruler and some pencils. I am not trying to be an ass, i am just tired of seeing people learn something that should be applied on paper. Nothing helps like drawing it yourself.
Nice anamatic. Hey, I'm just a nobody, figured I'd show something about 1 point perspective that I learned. It's hard to get a camera and do this on paper. It's easy to get autoscreenrecorder and just do screenshots of what I learned in mspaint. Both are free programs. I'm no expert, I'm just showing people what I learned. If you got a better way, by all means, show me the way. Thanks for the comment.
Thanks for checking out my video. I meant no offense, sorry if you took it the wrong way. I tend to get carried away with this stuff, sorry if I offended you. It is informative, you are right. pencil or no pencil.
This is the age for technology. Get used to it bud. Besides, I practice with pencil and paper (and eraser) while viewing drawing tutorials such as these, so don't think the old way has died away. In fact, it never will. This tutorial is clean and very easy to follow, I don't have to learn from a "teacher" that has to take the time to constantly erase shit off the blackboard.
I know it is. The old way will never die, your right. With Disney's new traditional film coming, it will reign as king again. I just think with the boom in CG, a lot of talented artists have forgotten the pencil and many schools now do not offer the in depth training needed. This video is an informative way to get a grasp on one point perspective, but I guess I'm just hardcore traditionalist.
No offense taken. I just find it funny that I am just an ametuer posting these vids, and that I might be part of a non-traditional enemy, when in fact, I'm just a nobody. Keep up the great work. And thanks for the debate. And thanks, dragoons9009 for the compliments. Makes me want to try another stab at this one point thing. TomatoDragon has an AMAZING tut in case you missed it. Type in "1pt. Perspective City" in the search bar. I will definitely be using perspective grids in the future!
I saw it awhile back, that's how I stepped it up in school. I used to know nothing about perspective, as soon as I put a grid down, I saw the paper with depth and a sense of 3 dimensions;) grids are a Godsend man.
thats really helpful, thanks, it's really nice to know that you dont need a facny program to draw perspective..this really helped but next time can you slow down the vid..^^
Google AutoScreenRecorder : it's a freeware! I used mspaint to draw it. Windows Movie Maker to compress the file. Hope this helps. Now I better start seeing some drawings from you, Beefyjerkyum!
Yes. This is good. I'll use it often if you don't mine. It took me awhile to find but I am new to YOUTube. Need response also. I'm subscribing--don't worry.

Thanks, you2449. Very smart of you to notice, since the video is so small and going so fast.

I like the way you used the Fill Tool to remove those perspective guidelines. That's an ingenious solution to the fact that MSPaint has no layers.
you2449 5 years ago
nice, but the thing with one point perspective is that it's often not very useful on organic objects like human bodies.
