Out of my pocket? Not too much, if you were to buy the equivalent online right now... anywhere from 500-800 dollars. Depending if you got new or used subs/amps, etc.
It's 2600W max at 1 ohm. It's a monoblock amp. I ahve it wired down to about 1.33 ohm so I'm putting about 1500W rms to 3 subs. It gets lukewarm, nowhere near hot. So you can probably install this amp in some pretty tight situations. The bass knob is great. It sounds clean and packs a punch. The manufacturer recommends 4 gauge wire but i have it wired with 2 gauge, which is the biggest that it will take.
I have a Boss DD3600 "powering" 2 18's (need 2; 1 is not enough) and it most certainly does not accept 4 guage wire. I have REAL 4 guage jumper cable for power wire and I had to bend and cut off about half of it to get it to fit.
I'm not sure about your methods. But I have REAL 2 gauge welding wire. Using it as the ground and power wires. It fit just barely, I can't see anything bigger being able to fit.
that is fucking badass i like the box the kicker is in is there a way you could send me some measurements of it i was wanting to build a boc like that for my fosgate t2s im getting in a week or so it wont look as good bcuz they circle subs but i just like those boxes
