  • this is clearly bullshit his pontuation is Different from round to round. He just mixed the scenes

  • This game is just so damn slow!

  • TAS=i suck and need to use a bot

  • @heatguyg perfect for you.

  • This thing look like it's hitting pretty hard on acid compared to the arcade versions or later versions.

  • Very poorly played...

  • Wow, the Super Nintendo version runs very slow. And it's much weaker graphically. The animations have been chopped to bits. You're much better off with the Saturn or Playstation versions. It was amazing they even got this to run on SNES.

  • I can't stand the Alpha Series but you played well.

  • Beast! :D

  • More like God of Tool Assistance.

  • If they ported this game to snes in 96, why couldnt they do it for n64?!!

  • @tecmo1

because at the time, all the rage was 3d. 2d was dying and suits believed there was no interest in regular graphics anymore.

  • Rhis game looks like real crap compared to sf2

  • @123TauruZ321 this game is so much better than sf2

  • @Zelda123Zelda123 No, is not.

  • awesome conversion

  • Wish someone could port the x-men arcade game to snes

  • The port is ok. The 'loading' times are a little unusual, and it feels like i'm playing an CD-I game like that. Some of the music is a little crappy ported(I'm pretty sure it can do better). But it's still very, very good. And very playable.

  • u must be good

  • I spent $9.00 USD (900 Wii points) and downloaded this from Wii's virtual console.

Needless to say, it is an awesome game and a decent port -- but considering the SNES emulator on my Wii giving similar resolution and gfx, and my PS2, and my PC (with more emulators)... maybe I shoulda waited for a better version of this game.

    Impulse purchase for ya....

  • @Jarrkha And then I realized there's a PC cd version.. oh lordy me!

  • U SUCK. NO COMBOS>

  • @345rae lol thats what i though first then i realice that he is playing for killing not for combos but yea he sucks :P

  • Looks a lot better than GBA SFA3.

  • @jlenoconel

But the GBA animates and plays much closer to CPS2 than this.

  • wow i never knew they were still making SNES games back in 1996? I think this was an amazing effort by Capcom to port this to the 16bit console. And the game was ported rather well. I'm still suprised to see how good the graphics are on the old SNES. Of course character animation is missing alot of frames and the music is in midi. format but still this isn't all that bad of a port.

  • @Tehrani72 ...The SNES is 16-bit, so is the arcade, which runs on the M68K, same CPU as the Sega Genesis. The amount of "bits" it has is almost entirely irrelevant.

  • @Tehrani72 the last NES game was made in 96. I think it was megaman 6

  • @AlphaT0kairu Mega Man 6 was released in the U.S. in 1994. That was more or less the original Nintendo's final year.

  • @Tehrani72 this game came out in 1997!

  • This game is available on the Virtual Console.

  • are you using a tool assistance for the SNES or is this a rom? If it is a rom, how did you get it to work (which emulator are you using)? Great post!

  • akuma stole ken's outfit LOL just kidding

  • SAUCE!

  • lol

  • bad loadtimes on a cartridge based system???

WHAT??? how is that even possible???

  • Because of the large amount of graphics data that needed to be decompressed.

  • I always been a fan of street fight,man

  • I didn't even know there was a SNES version as well, I had this on PS1 (like most others I assume)

  • same here. I've always owned all consoles, even though I paid more attention to my Genesis, than my SNES. But wow, I'm impressed the SNES actually pulled that off, despite the shortcomings to accommodate the downgrade.

  • Yeah this is very good quality for SNES, that loading even after the announcer says ''Fight'' is kinda annoying but it still isn't as long as on CD-based systems

  • Very impressive for a 16Bit game. I'm sure they were pressing every bit of power out of the Super Nintendo back in the day.

  • Give credit where its due, they ported this game to a 16-BIT System and still pulled off a playable port that was actually fun and resembled the arcade game well. You've got to appreciate it for what it was as a game by itself.

  • and that's bad because?

  • yeah this does kinda suck but thats just my opinion i like SSF2 for the snes and sega better.

  • Oh my god, this has got to be the worst port of all time.

  • God the music sucks, the lag is bad. UGGH the description was right about the game being not impressive. And what's with the 4 second pause after "Fight " disappears on screen.

  • Hi, one question...which is better...Super Street Fighter 2 or this alpha?? and which one is the newest?

  • The Alpha games came out within the 5th gen, so of course they're more modern... Whatever one is better is up to you; to my knowledge SF II is more balanced, and has better presentation regarding stages in music IMO, though the Alpha games have a larger roster and a few new mechanics, most notably different fighting systems per character (within Alpha 3 anyway) and a stacking super meter. I would definitely recommend SSFIIT or any of the alpha games over IV though :-P.

  • *stages and music excuse me.

  • This Alpha 2 is the newest and is better. For Super Street Fighter II go for the Sega Mega Drive version as that version is superior to the Super Nintendo one (despite the "coincidental" "Super" titles) especially in terms of music, effects and most importantly, the gameplay.

  • good lord the graphics are EPIC!

  • akuma means devil in japanese. and oni means demon or demons injapanese. kappa means vampire in japanese.

  • Fake, low difficulty. It's a videomontage

  • very trashhhhh you need to learn to make a tool of street fighter alpha 2

  • Damn this game is cold for giving a GAME OVER screen when you beat the game!!!

  • That's because the scrub is playing on the lowest difficulty

  • @cmharveyjr it's a TAS you stupid fuck

  • This game is cold for being a horrid game. I remember when I found this game I was so excited only to get it home to see horrid graphics and much loading delays.

  • LOL that too! Haha, I remember feeling about the same way.

  • ur just a dumb noob. Sf is the mother of any fighting game.

  • yeah, but this version is horrid

  • erm no

  • well i'm saying that compared to the PCS version. that's all

  • You've obviously never played the SNES version have you?

  • Wow you have some anger issues. With how bad this game was you'd think that you were one of the programmers. The only one that should defend such a horrid conversion would only be the programmers. I love the colorful language you use on your comments it makes you sound like your 11 years old. So if you are I can understand but otherwise grow up.

  • PUHFEKT

  • Akuma: Shoosh!

  • Hadouken-- AAAAUGH.

  • when did this come out?

  • Ok, umm im having trouble with doing super combos at this game at an emulator, can anyone teach me like how to do them? thanks

  • lol are you playing on a Super Nintendo Emulator?

  • Well, yes i do play on an emulator i just said that.

  • then you should just play the original version on Kawaks or MAME the game is much more smooth and the music is better and sprites are full size.

  • THis game has loading on both the Saturn and the PSX as well, so the end result was not that bad, specially for those like me that couldn't afford a new system yet.

IIRC it was released about the same time as Mario 64 for the N64... Odd, they could have released a better effort on the 64 but I guess the userbase didn't suffice...

  • Well I wouldn't go that far. The loading time on the Saturn version didn't have loading time when the anouncer says "Fight". The loading time was between new matches but it was no where near as annoying as this. But the good thing was that it looked like the arcade counterpart. I'm glad that I had a Saturn by the time this game came out because after buying the SNES version I was so let down.

  • It's absolutely amazing what Capcom/Nintendo (I think the later is responsible about 90% of the coding for that port) with the little SNES.

The music took a huge impact and so the sprite animations but they were constantly fighting against space issues. Because this, the game has loading before each combat because had to decompress the sprite data. One thing that impressed me is how they kept stages such as the Charlie one with that giant Harrier on the back... or the multi-layer Sagat one...

  • shin akuma ?? cmon dude ...

  • At least I COPING SHI AKUMA In my VIDEO AS THIS FACE HAD DREAD

  • You did better than me with all perfects but why these people including myself are upset with the out come is because we wanted to see more combos & you absolutely destroy shin Akuma. You didn't end it with enough super acts to even challenge him. Acidglow didn't get All perfects like you did. but from start 2 finish it was insane combos & ridiculously Awesome finishes. when you do this again and defeat Shin Akuma (the reason I watched in the first place) I will proudly give a better comment.

  • More like God of Faggotry. LoL

  • lmao

  • KAY OH!!!!!

  • its pretty slow running..when I remember Street Fighter 2 Turbo on 10 stars...incredibly fast! ;)

  • God of Fighting? NEGATIVE,NEGATIVE

  • Yeah, give God of Fighting good job for taking advantage of so many glitches in this game, but it doesn't look any different from a normal game. Nicely done Web for putting it up for God of Fighting this run is very skilled.

  • u played on hardest level?

  • How can I do that Special 15 hit combo ... and Can I do that same combo in other street fighter's games or Marvel vs Capcom ... or any other one ?

  • You press all punch and kick buttons at the same time. You can control the combo and juggle during that short time.

  • I </3 Sakura

  • That Can't be Akuma. It HAS to be Chuck Norris!

  • i don't get these chuck norris jokes. is he evil or something?

  • Chuck Norris is an actor on a tv show called "Texas ranger". In the show, he does a lot basically impossible stunts, usually involving a roundhouse kick. (kicking the driver in a moving car, through the windsheild) For some really weird reason, somebody, somewhere posted something like "The egg came first. The chicken was hiding from chuck norris", and it escilated from that to "Chuck norris counted to infinity, TWICE" and "Chuck norris is why waldo is hiding"...

    Now your REALLY confused. :D

  • ok now i need a good answer who isn't a complete retarded asshole..........

  • Dont Mess With The Shun Goku Satsu

  • i know the snes is being maxed out but never understood why it loads?? its a cart not a cd

  • the super Nintendo doesn't have enough ram, so what it is the Capcom did, was using a compressing+decompressing the ram = needing the loading time

  • Why was so much ram needed? I remember this game used a 40 meg cartridge as well

  • The charactor sprites takes up a huge amount a ram. Because of the charactors, they are big by the frame of sprites by the manuver that it'll need to be loaded. Capcom has cut out some frames of each charactor in order to fit a SNES 4mb cartrige. Well.. The killer instinct had only used the highest 4mb, I believe the Street Fighter is a lot lower; about 2-3mb, and other stage installments to fit in a 3mb cart...

  • Those were the times of inexpensive, luckly the SNES use the Sony sound card installed interally. The SNES was supposed to be the Playstation due to its CD mount installment for the bottem of the SNES, but it conflicted the license of Nintendo's disagreement... So sony came out with their own, the PSX CD based alone.

  • Oh year by the way, the reason why the music sound so crappy on the SNES was because there isn't enough space to fight a higher bit rate for its Sony sound card midi instramental. Capcom had to cut as much to fit on a 4mb, the SNES cart doesn't go any higher than 4.

The reason why it loads too long because the cart is talking to its CPU in dealing with compressed files...

  • It's not correct the game Star Ocean had 8mb.

  • its the same reason why star ocean costed so damn much when it came out. the 8mb made the cartridge much more costly to produce, and i think star ocean and tale of phantasia are the only 2 games to have that because they included voice overs.

  • in that case, what happened to Star Ocean and Tales of Phantasia?

  • Another thing, the SNES's CPU FSB (Front Side Bus) is too slow = slower loading processing unit.

  • The SNES CPU speed is only 3Mhz. with a built in Sony sound card. The reason why the music and all sounds so good from the other games other than a Sega Genesis owns a crappy one sound system.

  • imagine some random guy jumping into your room through the window screaming KO....

  • how to do this "Special combo" on 03:03 ???

  • ur my biggest fan cause u play games fast like a mutha fuking spped

  • that KO voice is annoying

  • ROFL +1

  • KAY!!!! OH!!!!!!

  • ..............huh?weres the shin akuma fight

  • playing the computer doesnt mean you are a "god" of any kind.

  • I think the video is to show how fast he can beat it. But I agree.

  • This is very amusing! Thank you for postin this! I busted out laughing when I saw the custom combo for the first time lol! It must have killed the developers to see the game so watered down like that. Well.. At least they will get a good laugh when they play it!

  • Ahhh I've always tried to do that Finishing move with Akuma but didnt work xD

Can someone tell me how to do that ? :o

  • The Shun Goku Satsu? LP, LK, Forward, HP

  • Shoot, I mean lp, lp, lk, forward, hp

  • Thank you Very much :)

  • Don't you mean lp lp forward lk hp?

You messed up the order :o

  • Gah, yeah. I actually never use at all, really. In some games he's just glides too slow, it's easily avoidable, and then you get a beatdown from behind.

  • Meh, I pwn with it all the time...

  • Akuma's own aura is made of ownage!

No one can touch the warrior demon!

I adored the Custom Combo Finishes, as well as the famous Shun Goku Satsu finishes.

    Final Score: 3,260,500

  • not bad. I'm a stickler about missed juggle opportunities though. That's just me.

    Well done.

  • love this game. i 4got how 2 do that 15 hit special combo doe

    lol!

  • ._.

Te mou com o Ryu xD

  • The only idiotic thing I see on this page is your comment.

    Learn some fucking English.

  • I'm not a american

    i cannot speak english clearly.

    fat ass

  • It was alright

  • God of Fighting???? Man, how can you think that you are a god man?? Your fighting level is too low, do you play very very bad, in other words you are a jackass.

  • He probably did put the difficulty back down 2easy w/out anyone seeing it. It's impossible to get a perfect on hard. REAL impossible. Has there been anybody beat the game on hard for real w/out getting hit or blocking a special move once? Let me answer that....NO!!!

  • It says ''tool-assisted'' run for a reason.

  • i didn't see him fight rose!

  • damn man you getting a lil too happy about saturn aint you??? the fuck is wrong with you?

  • could be done better specially for a tas.there should be more setups for crossover

    and combos.

  • i hate this version i like the arcade version, isnt there a saturn version?

  • saturn version rocks all games ons saturn rock

  • true,way true man!!

  • Yes, there is a Saturn version.

  • also they have it for playstation the original

  • what crazy man

  • Very well played. I can't beat the comp with perfects like that.

  • its a tas! it always well played

  • I like the part where the opponent loses

  • Real funny. The opponent loses maybe more than 10 times...

  • I wanna see this guy fight Dark Fulgore, that would be kick ass!

  • i guess its not bad for a snes port. kinda makes me cringe a little at the music, sound effects and odd pauses.

  • Heh. God of Fighting is really God of Fighting!!!

  • i love round 1 of zangief

  • The opponents seem to get knocked on their backs a lot; I wish they would stay standing longer so the combos would continue.

  • Great run, shame he didn't fought Shin Akuma though...

  • The Saturn version was way better.

  • man thats laggy, sfa2 shouldnt have been made for snes

  • Lol! The lag adds to the humor!

  • thats the snes for ya

  • there's an odd pause when it says 'fight'; is that normal?

  • some snes games load you know?
