I hate it when people make up a random number, and come up with an incorrect percentage to make them selves look smart... I'm no math wiz but if the odds of being dealt specific pair is 1 in 220 and any pocket pair 1 in 16 wouldn't the math be

220(AA) x 220(KK) x 220(QQ) x 16(5's) x 16(7's) = 2,725,888,000

@54israelsilva I tried to explain it short and briefly, but I discovered that, that isn't possible. You should look up some information about this game (Texas Hold'Em, No Limit) on the internet to understand more about it.

After that, you can download poker software (PokerStars, PartyPoker or Everest Poker for example) and start playing for playmoney (if you're 18 years or older) to really get to know the game. It's a great game to play and if you're good, you can make a lot of money with it.

@54israelsilva As for this video: this is a 6-Max format and out of 6 players, 5 players are dealt a pair in their hand. Three of them get the three biggest pairs and three strongets hands possble (before any other cards on the table are deal): AA, KK, QQ (in that order of strength). After a lot of betting/raising, the player with the KK decides to fold (not play his hand) and AA and QQ get all their chips in to the pot. Eventually KK would've won, altough he made a really good fold.

O'Mahoney had additional information from the hand. He was facing a raise and 3bet shove from both opponents. Therefore the raising player may be more polarised towards {88+,AJ+} and 3bet shove player will even tighter than that. Of course, these are somewhat standard ranges too so they might be tighter. P(KK vs AA) is much much higher than 2.44% when action gets back to him. And winning 1 in 6 times isn't something to celebrate either.....

Once when me and my friends played a simmilar thing happened... 6 were playing and 5 had pocket pairs (there was no aces though, but we had KK, QQ and JJ and two were some low cards)... and i was shuffling so i'm sure they hadn't been set up.

... The funny thing is, one of the guys with the number pair was shortstack and decided to allin, and then miraculasly beat all of the high pairs in the end, thus getting 5 times his stack... goodtimes
