Wow ,I had no idea so many of these fims were lost. It's very sad! I am just beginning to really see the beauty and magic of these films and a whole new world is opening up for me.

New Jersey was the birthplace of the silent movie before moving to Hollywood. The building that housed many of the early films burned to the ground, taking all the film with it!!☺
