What a sound from the strings, the woodwinds, the entire orchestra ... all wedded to that magical baton of the Maestro Arturo Toscanini... wonderful post, but, pardon my ignorance, who are the individuals seated to the right of the Maestro in the photo above. They look oh so familiar and I feel that I should know but unfortunately, do not. Anyone to enlighten me?
@BSA2417666 Bruno Walter è, come Toscanini, Karajan, De Sabata, Furtwaengler, uno dei più grandi maestri della storia. Senti il suo Mozart e il suo Brahms. Thomas Mann è uno dei più grandi maestri della letteratura di tutti i tempi.
Pardon my previous entry ... if I only read the Italian entry above, on the left is Bruno Walter and in the middle, Thomas Mann. My bad!
