@airehk Well, the DX gimmick suited him good. he was the adrenaline of DX i give you that. But remember what Shawn michaels said to X Pac - 'I was DX, before DX was cool'...... Shawn came up with DX in the first place. That time, HHH was gimmickless, and so he was in X Pac's postion, he had to depend on the DX gimmick. So i'd say that HBK was DX, as his degenerative attitude spawned the birth of the group. it was originally Degeneration X, before it was tuned to D-Generation X.

DX originated with HBK and HHH in mid 1997, and went on untill Shawn's almost career ending injury in mid 1998. After that HHH became leader and recruited X Pac who was fired from WCW, and the NEw Age outlaws, who were associated with DX during Shawn's time as DX leader.

Xpac was such a great hype man back in the day for DX, perhaps the best in the whole WWF during his time. When those lights went off, and the DX theme started pumping, and those green lights started going off everywhere, xpac was a real fire ball and did a great job getting the crowd hype
