  • Euphs FTW! Go low brass! Knock 'em low! XD

  • That whole section is equal to my whole brass section.

  • @TheFX37 Thats twice the size of my low brass section

  • i wish my section could blow baritone like that...

could someone give me some advice for my section which only has 10 person?

  • omgsh so many euphoniums it makes me cry tears of joy =*)

  • EUPHOINUM IS THE BEST!!!!!!

  • EUPH FTW!!!

i play the euphonium along with another person im first chair`` =p

  • LOVE IT!!! Go EUPHS!!

  • yea baritone is the best instrument but my school has only 3 including me

  • FUCKING AWESOME B-TONES 4 LIFE!!

  • at my school we a a combined section of baritone/euphonium of 18 its actually bigger than the color guard.

  • my band got 2 and we blowin out sections wit 10+

  • i would love to be in a euphonium section that has at least 4 more than we have. but i am the only one.

  • My marching band only has 5... 3 switched from trumpet, 2 from clarinet (I'M SO GLAD I DITCHED THE CLARINET SECTION)

Last year we had 3, but one moved, one graduated, and one quit band.

  • lolz my marching band only has two and next year one will graduate

  • lmao. my marching band only has 4 euphoniums. and im one of them.

  • i play baritone/euphonium, great job!

  • these are marching euphoniums, they are not limited to concert bands.

  • You're wrong. The only difference between euphonium and baritone is the same difference between trumpet and cornet... the euphonium is conical (like the cornet) for a deeper sound while the baritone isn't... and it's brighter. While baritones are prominent in marching bands there are euphoniums as well, although they are used more in drum corps. This is not to say this particular ensemble is not using them though.

Please, for the love of my instrument, pass this information on.

  • yeah, i agree with what you put at the bottom of your comment. i absolutely hate it when people get baritones and euphs mixed up!!

and yes i do play euph, i play a king 625, bell front model(lacquer) and i use a Jupiter 12c mouthpiece

  • epic fail...

  • I actually ask my conductor sometimes to get the euphonium part out because i dont own a baritone to play the part on

  • In my marching band i have to march with a 4valve concert euphonium XD but i feel awesome carrying that thing around alongside the 3 other baritones

  • rocks

  • :O I now know where I am going to college

  • I just stumbled across this, I didn't know it existed...

I'm a member of the section, so I was excited to see it on here. Thanks for posting it, and thanks for all the positive feedback to all the people who commented :)

  • ... ya if only chiefs had a euphonium sections too.. that would be real swell.. gosh i sure do love me some drum corps

  • hahaha if only a drum corps had that bariphonium section. they would rock hahah

  • man they sound good

  • i got it now. it's "(i just) died in your arms tonight) by Cutting Crew. I thought the chords in this sounded awfully familiar.

  • I didn't know what song it was. XD lol I'm a euphinium player and so I recorded them

  • its a pitty you didn't get any more, they rock.

  • what song is this? it sounds really familiar.

  • it sounds like 'I just died on your arms tonight' by the Cutting Crew... who I just found out (on myspace) are back together with a new album, bit of trivia there for you :)
