I love how mormons are spamming this "defending" themselves. I don't see how something that reguards someone as holy after Jesus is the same religion as Christianity. To many differences, to far removed. Different religion entirely. It has about the same amount of similarities to Christianity as Judaism or Islam. It is important to know the truth of the Word of God, but is also important to lead by example and “walk in love”, as Jesus repeatedly demonstrated. (Ephesians 5:2). Great display of ‘head knowledge’ of the scriptures, but AWFUL delivery. Did he choose to witness to the Mormons out of love and compassion or just to feed his ego? The arrogant attitude was totally unnecessary.
Ignoring everything that is said in this video and pay attention to body language and tone of voice. The mormon missionaries were nothing but polite and in my opinion they are bullied and overspoken and not allowed to respond. A debate can go really quickly to one side if one person is dominating the conversation regardless of what is being said.

From my understandings, they believe in jesus but as far as Joseph Smith-- they believe he basically was to restore scripture onto the people that his writings were to be more direct with god and that all of the other religions held faults and that Smiths writings were to be direct from god ..but he was a servant of god who was later proclaimed by some as a profit ..

@Tarn1968 No. The LDS church does not think that Joseph Smith is equal to Jesus Christ. Joseph Smith was a prophet, like those of the Old Testament. He received modern day revelation. At the age of 14 he did not know what church was true so he read James 1:5 which says, "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him." After reading this he prayed to know which church is true.none of the current chuches had full truth

It isn't the missionaries loss that someone didnt want to hear their message, he was against them from the start. I am a mormon, and I do believe in Jesus Christ. The missionaries tried as hard as they could to tell them that, but his pride was way too built up; he wouldnt even give them a chance. Instead he just made himself look completely ignorant. Missionaries run into people like that every day, but yet they continue, for 2 years, just being polite and trying to help.

Those 2 LDS missionaries were so sweet and nice to this prideful old man. They never raised their voices and never got mad like he did. Does this invalidate those parts that were written after Revelation? It was men who organized the order of the BIBLE

@TennesseeSaint I challenge anyone, to read the entire chapter of Ephesians chapter four. For within that chapter you may know of assuredness if the doctrine you follow is correct or false. The recipe for that knowledge in given to all within that chapter. There is ONE true faith. God has given the gifts of Apostles and Prophets, etc. (essentially every calling mentioned in the Bible) to his church, which comprise every part of the body of the Church. For without a part it is incomplete.

From my understandings, they believe in jesus but as far as Joseph Smith-- they believe he basically was to restore scripture onto the people that his writings were to be more direct with god and that all of the other religions held faults and that Smiths writings were to be direct from god ..but he was a servant of god who was later proclaimed by some as a profit ..

At the age of 14 he did not know what church was true so he read James 1:5 which says, "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him." It isn't the missionaries loss that someone didnt want to hear their message, he was against them from the start. I am a mormon, and I do believe in Jesus Christ. The missionaries tried as hard as they could to tell them that, but his pride was way too built up; he wouldnt even give them a chance. Instead he just made himself look completely ignorant. Missionaries run into people like that every day, but yet they continue, for 2 years, just being polite and trying to help.

No. The verse you referenced Rev 21:19, Refers to the adding to or taking from this particular record of Revelation, just as a similar reference in Deut.12:32, at the closing of the revelation of the commandments that were given to Moses. It was men who organized the order of the BIBLE

The recipe for that knowledge in given to all within that chapter. There is ONE true faith. He should have tried to gently lead them back to the truth, as well as the Lord, instead of just repulsing and insulting them, which is what the Bible also dictates. However, as brutal and harsh as he was (and I don't like it any better than anybody else here), he was telling the truth, and the Bible clearly states (I forget Chapter and Verse, although I can look it up for those who wish) that we are to rebuke one another frankly so that we may be corrected and stand up tall in the truth.
