i have this kind of thing, it says my laptop has 301 errors and duh it dosent because my avg isnt telling me and its called PC Speed Maximizer, like thats definetely real isnt it! i dont hink my laptop is infected because evey time i log on it says the following program wants to make changes on your computer do u want to allow it to and it was that pc speed maximizer thing so i just have to put up with press no evry time i log on. i tried to delete it but i cant find the file anywhere.

@paarsefrikandel If you can find one in Amazon and its saids Norton 360\Norton Internet Security or Norton Antivirus then its real. Most fake ones dont go in to legal internet shopping websites like Amazon.

I had one called win32/fakespypro last night I was so mad I was shaking I went outside and punched 2 2x4s and busted them it took me 8 hours to fix it. I swear if I knew who wrote these viruses I would go to their house and punch them in the nose then the jaw then stomp their private parts.

Tip of the day: when this crap starts up, restart in "safe mode". Do a simple search for all *.exe downloaded that day. Rename them *.virus so you can find them later, or if you make a mistake. Go to options for IE, and unclick "use proxy server" under LAN. You can weed your registry if you want to, but by changing the extensions, the fake program is "lost". :D

You want to know a Fake Antivirus? It is Norton 2010 Antivirus. I bought it in Best Buy on Central Avenue Yonkers. I downloaded it, i type in the "KEY". It should be activated and do its intended job. And yet it says "NEED ACTIVATION". It should be good for 1yr, but it is only a trial for 15days. Remember i bought and paid for the software. Up to now it is not working and never did its job. But they already got my money.
