  • I find it interesting how the man who plays Hugo Strange, Corey Burton is also the current voice of the Disney version of the White Rabbit.

  • "Hey, it's Fred. WAIT, DON'T HIT THE SKIP BUTTON!"

Me: Sorry Fred, I've seen your ad before.

  • @Ctrooper2011 MAN THAT THINGS ANNOYING !!!!!

  • XD Love that song it was kinda .. Adorable? : / = XD

" Alice come out, don't pout, don't make me shout Alice, come out, where are you? "

  • Can I keep her? xD

  • WILL YOU SHUT THE F**ck up about ALICE U INSANE PIECE OF SHIT?

  • He sounded like winnie the pooh at one part!

    New meaning to "pedo bear"?

  • Jervis Tetch: a few cups short of a tea party.

  • Creepiest version of the Hatter I've seen. Surprised they didn't give him any pedophilic undertones.

  • @jbevan70 that would've been odd. But I think it would have fit his character. Remember, this game's Teen though

  • @jbevan70 yeah that would have been a really good idea for a kids game

  • @bibipbi People get murdered in cold blood in this game - it's clearly not a kid's game.

  • @jbevan70 i disagree, kids these days can handle violent games, and i didn't think it was that violent, but pedophilia is just a step to far

  • How do you get his bio?

  • The implication is that "Alice" is just some random girl (Hatter is a known pedophile).

  • @Eyaculandoenellodo2 Hatter is an implied pedo. There's a differance. There's no proof.

  • "lesser souls"? says the guy who crys in a fake batsuit every night

  • mad hatter sounds like I.M. Meen

  • Mad Hatter has got to stop playing TF2; he's grown obsessed with hats

  • It's such a shame that Hatter didn't have larger part in the game. He was such a great character...

  • those tapes are the best of all imo

  • So who exactly was "Alice" that Strange was referring to. At first I thought it would be Vicky Vale since Strange would probably want the Hatter to silence her and that Batman would have to save her on a mission, but that didn't happen so now I'm just confused. Revealed in sequel maybe? I don't know.

  • @WackyJack322 I think the "Alice" Strange gave Jervis was some random lady dressed up to look like Alice.

  • @ConorC96 I suppose it was wishful thinking on my part. I just thought that scenario would be cool and reminiscent of the Hatter first appearance on Batman: TAS. But I think what we got was still pretty cool, I just wish they did a little more with him instead of just a side-mission.

  • @WackyJack322 who knows, a sequel is definitively coming

  • When he says covered in blood it scares me but I feel bad for him :c

Especially when you go to see him after you beat his sidequest. He cries D:

  • So THIS is what would've happened if the attempt on Human Transmutation robbed Edward Elric of his sanity.

  • Mad Hatter is an underrated Batman villain. I never took much notice to him before Arkham City, but once I saw what he's capable of, I can't get enough of him.

  • @AlexRider589

    Same here. :D

  • i love the count dooku voice for dr strange

  • Damn hatter, you craaazy!

  • Of all the interview tapes,I think Hatters' tapes are the richest in character acting.

  • I pity him :( He just wants Alice... to kill her, but still :(

  • By far the creepiest Batman villain.

  • "Can I keep her?"

    ROFLMFAO!!!!

  • If I hear the name Alice one more time...... :|

  • @XChocolateRainXx

    Ill kill someone named alice.

    Where is she?

  • 3:23 - possible jab at American McGee?

  • Aliiiice... Come out. Don't pout. Don't make me shout, Alice... where arrreeeee yooouuu.

  • He's a mercury lined top hat wearing insane murderous pedophile.

  • My friend texted saying hi whats up? But i freaked her out by saying "I can't talk now I must find Alice!"

  • I would love to see what happens if someone gave Alice: Madness Returns to him xD

  • @mineMissHellsing probably nothing, because that game sucked. xD

  • When I hear this all I think is that this guy REALLY needs some mental help... mental help from someone who isn't called Hugo Strange.

  • Who voices the Mad Hatter, because it sounds like Peter MacNicol as Thomas Renfield from Dracula dead and loving it!

  • @jynxie3vex this interview could have taken place BEFORE Arkham City was built and before Arkham Asylum happened. Strange even talks about plans for Arkham City.

  • HOLD ON!!! "brought to arkham asylum 6 months ago" BUT the events of Arkham City take place 1 YEAR after Arkham Asylum. and in the asylum, one riddle s in reference to the Hatter. His teacups, remember!?

  • @jynxie3vex This interview took place a long time before the events of Arkham Asylum... the mind control devices of Jervis Tetch were what lead Sharpie to become "the Spirit of Amadeus Arkham."

  • Mad Fapper.

  • WHERE THE FUCK CAN I FIND A LIST OF ALL THE INTERVIEW TAPES IN-GAME?? SRSLY?!?!

  • this mad hatter is more realistic and more darker

though you kinda feel petty for him being like he is

  • @13thmistral Pity? But yes. It's much much more realistic. His nervous pain and fixation are very hard to hear and not cause sympathy. Even the fact that he seems to feel very sorry for his crimes. It's almost ironic, a genius who can bend minds to his will, but he's completely at the mercy of his own demented one.

  • The third interview tape really disturbed me. They made Mad Hatter a much darker character.

  • omg i forgot he killed alice 1 but it the comie she dont died

  • you know you can find alice

  • Hugo Strange was pretty nice in these interviews.

  • @Craterman120 nice or a manipulative psychopath?

  • He's a creepy mofo. I really wish he had a bigger part in the game though. :(

  • His section of the game felt like it was just stuck on near the end(considering you unlock of his tapes and other tiems just by defeating him) but his Peter MacNicol could not have done a more amazing job voicing him. A lot of reviews for Arkham City say that the game doesn't develop its villians enough, the interview tapes prove them wrong. The fact that so much of what happens during story is explained through them adds to the games brilliance, nearly nothing in the game happened by chance.

  • He totally reminds me of Dwight Frye as Renfield in Dracula. Sounds like him too!

  • @SwampLord9 Which is funny the guy who voiced the Mad Hatter, portrayed Renfield in a Dracula parody directed by Mel Brooks.

  • @Malston1491 I always thought Peter MacNicol was a really good Renfield. I had no idea that was him!

  • @Malston1491

Dracula dead and loving it! Right? I knew him from somewhere! He was the guy that got the enema's! So funny! :"D

  • I actually feel a bit sorry for him here. The other characters may be sick and twisted, but still have some grip on reality and their decisions. Jervis may be totally insane.

  • I like how he says "Where are you?!". I actually started to feel sorry for Jervis when I listened to these tapes.

  • whoever is the voice of the mad hatter is pure genius the way he says alice perverted lol

  • @An0k1n Peter MacNicol, believe it or not.

  • btw the reason his patch changes color is because the subtitles for the tape come with a blue highlight on part of the image, no matter what while playing, its just conicidental that it looks only on his patch on his image

  • around 3:57 it kinda sounds like Strange was trying to actually help Hatter in someway when talking about his first murder.

  • He reminds me of Smeagle/Gollum sometimes

  • @JeremyBarandela

He reminds me of Peter MacNicol (the guy providing his voice) back when he was doing his parody of Dwight Frye. He even looks like the two of them in this.

  • What the... His shirt sleeve changes colour inbetween when the tape plays.

  • 3:23 - possible jab at American McGee?

  • @mburmy

    MIND = BLOWN

  • Shit this is creepy. Mad Hatter is a psychopath and he's done atrocious acts, but at the same time he's not quite at the level of the Joker. Joker is a true monster; one who knows and is completely aware of what he's doing is evil. Hell, he may not even really be crazy. Jervis however is essentially autistic; his mind is broken, fragile and destroyed. He's got no idea what he's doing is wrong. It's for that he's evil, but not truly.

  • @TheInstantClassic1 I don't think autistic quite fits there, but I entirely agree otherwise. schizophrenic is how the game defines it, of the paranoid variety.

  • These were the first audio tapes I found in the game.

  • This and the Zsasz tapes were outstanding

  • Ya he is like a child with a distorted mind. Really pathetic...

  • @TheDrdoggE But what is more cruel or innocent than the mind of a child

  • He's not even evil, he's just mentally ill. And COMPLETELY incapable of being part of modern society, he's totally lost in his schizophrenic delusions. I agree with whotookCheesusChrist, I feel really sorry for this poor man. Amazing voice work.

  • @louthegiantcookie Yeah I agree, especially as he started crying when Batman defeated him.

  • @louthegiantcookie You realise he's also a Pedophile who kidnaps young girls and rapes them before killing them right?

  • @thesorrow777 The thing is, if he's mentally ill he's unable to distinguish between right and wrong and the consequences of his actions. He and Zsasz both have this and are completely lost in their delusions, whereas The Joker at least knows what he's doing is morally wrong, but he just doesn't care (classic anti-social personality disorder). But aside from that, the voice acting on this is just amazing, the actors change from "Don't pout, don't make me shout..." to "Where is she" is perfect.

  • @louthegiantcookie Oh he's evil alright

  • xbox 360

  • I feel a little sorry for him. Hatter seems so insane that he's just pathetic.

  • LOL, the mad hatter living up to his new name.

  • Good Job :) keep it up
