  • soo proud of him..I am proud of how forward the gospel rap hipo pop music has evolved

  • God through Lecrae has given me revelation second only to the Word. He has inspired me to rap as well. check out my channel

  • gOD BLESS LECREA, NICE ALBUM

  • I LOVE THE DIVERSITY OF THIS ALBUM...ITS PERFECT. I THINK, ITS NOT TOO MUCH OF ONE THING..THE DIFFERENT TYPES OF MUSIC TAKE YOU TO DIFFERENT PLACES AND I LOVE EVERY ONE OF THEM. MY PERSONAL PREF IN GENRE WOULD BE SONGS LIKE "NEW SHALOM" & "40 DEEP" BUT NOT ANYMORE..IT ALL JUS GO SO HARD AND WITHOUT COMPROMISING THE MESSAGE

  • I think killa should not have been on the album cuz it is confusing for a lot of people who cant understand the subliminal message behind it like my brother heard the song "killa" and thought lecrae was a drug addict and I had to explain it to him

  • @Dwrancho144 well if your brother is young and never experienced what he stated in killa, then i could understand why he wouldn't understand, and i'm glad you were there to explain. much of lecrae's music is geared toward older teens and younger adults, people who grew up to the golden age of hip hop. don't blame him for droppin a good track. keep helpin people understand where he's comin from if they don't.

  • A Man that has truly been blessed. An his lyrics an beats are nice. JAH LOVE

  • New Lecrae Song "Overdose" Listen to it here

    watch?v=f632yLk6WMA

  • At 9 minutes Lecrae enters a discussion that could have been very volatile. Very well done in articulating disagreement theologically while maintaining the love of Christ to our brothers and sisters.

  • How's Lecraes humility!!! Keep it up Lecrae, I thank God for Christ in you!

  • liked the flashy 3d logo and intro animations in this, soft focus was nice and not overdone, but the cross zoom transition where things were cut, kinda ruined it. Otherwise this was a good production :)

interview was very cool, it's good to hear more about lecrae and his ministry.

  • "dagonne folk music!"

    bahahahahaha!

  • I always learn so much when I listen to Him speak... Thanks for posting

  • You can buy an MP3 Album for $7.99 on Amazon. Go to Amazon.com and type in Lecrae MP3.

  • @TheProdigy502 Um from what I heard, Target, walmart, and thats all I know. But if you go to CBD.com or parable.com and type in Lecrae Rehab an you should find it one either websites! :)

  • anyone know what stores are selling the album?

  • @TheProdigy502 Lifeway

  • @TheProdigy502 i know walmart is. it's also on itunes.

  • He's got a great point, there is no where in the Bible it says that you will become monetarily rich when you come to Jesus. I do believe God will bless you if you carry out his commands, however his form of a blessing is most likely nothing secular.

  • He is so REAL with his music. He said in one of his songs... "I'm not trying to be like him.. I'm trying to be him" Stay true Lecrae and keep telling it like it is.

  • I admit i was completely turned off by lecrae's new "genre" as he stated in the vid...i do not like any rock music so i was not feeling it at all but after watching this i realized that he's right, when Christ takes you to a new level you don't like the same things, you can't do the same things or handle situations the way you used to-this new genre may steer some away but ultimately God is about promotion and growth so i respect him for trusting God to open this new door to spread the gospel

  • @commentinabluemoon Begs the question, though...is it the musical genre that would turn one away, or their attachment to ungodly themes from songs within that genre that turns one way? Jesus noted that it is not what it come into a man that defiles him, but it's what comes out of him(Mark 7:15). Not saying musicians have no responsibility for what they put out, they very much do. But the Word says we get steered away by our own inward desires and lust, not from outside sources(James 1:13-15).

  • @deek77 it can be both deek..i mean i only listen to christian music but i'm not gonna ride down the road listening to other genre's that are not to my taste such as country or rock, even though they may be Christian...I'm drawn to the message but I need to enjoy the sound also..that's just me.

  • he doesn't look happy...i hope he's okay...

  • We need to be praying for guys like this. He may be an artist and following God, but satan is gonna try his hardest to get at Crae. We are blessed to have a guy like this striving after Christ and striving to share the Gospel. He struggles too, he has a walk with Christ too, he is tempted too. Pray God is with him always and that God blesses him abundantly.

  • Thats really nice of u. U know God loves everyone........

  • @kingoftheroad410 Amen. Its always a blessing to have real soldiers fighting for go. Thank you

  • @kingoftheroad410 AMEN!!! GLORY!

  • question why are we afraid to say Eminem's name in this vid, not tryin to throw shade or be rude, but i just wanted to know why we didn't say his name? yes, loving what lecrae is saying here, great interview!

  • there is no such thing as to much of Lecrae's music.

  • Great interview. Crae seems more comfy in his own skin than I've ever seen him (big ups, brother) and moreso than a lot of artists do. It's all about running in your lane, doing what YHWH called you to do with the style He gave YOU. Crae is doing that.

  • Great interview, Crae has defnitely matured, appreciate his transparency, humility and focus on Christ and what God's called him to do, he is reaching masses for Christ!!

  • He is just so intelligent great man of God!!

  • The description is wrong. far away was his first single from this album... Wow who doesn't know that?

  • @polarBEAR819 Far Away is not on the album, it was just a seperate single, a tribute to Haiti.

  • intervier sounds like he could be realated to rapper craig nice

  • One of the best Lecrae interviews ever

  • Comment removed

  • is it me or does the interviewer sound like kanye

  • Props to lecrae on speaking out on the quality of Christian rap. Good to see he's focusing on quality and excellence over cultural acceptance and putting emphasis on the art behind his music. He's definitly maturing as an artist and not just repping Christ blindly and putting everything else second. He realises that his music must be glorifying to God as well, not just his lyrics and thank God for that. I'm sure a lot of us artsy backpacker Christian rap lovers will be very pleased to here this.

  • Very well spoken. Agree with you on the quality of christian hip-hop. Can't wait for rehab to drop! Much support, Much luv, and God Bless! :O)

  • Nice interview right there Crae

  • first!
