@DBDP3 "Taps and Roll Off" pre dates the Destiny's child tune. This video was recorded in 2002. I was actually in the line in 2004 when Destiny's Child released the song. They sampled us (to this day I don't know if they had the composer's permission or not).

However, you cannot try to even compare Ohio State's drumline to Michigans. It's the only thing I'll admit to as far as the whole Scarlet vs. Azure rivalry goes.

Tradition is nice, but in the 21st century, I'm pretty sure style is nicer. Michigan's line has plenty of it. PLENTY!

My Band Director put together a Marching Band exhibition this year. And he asked Mr. Scott Boerma (director of Marching Bands at UofM) and the band to come and be a guest at our show. They came, and it was amazing! I was on the front sideline when they performed and they did it all. Then of course I had to scramble as they came off the field. Right at our band.

Fun fact: My father was high school buddy's with Scott Boerma. My mother went to a camp where Boerma did his first conducting ever.
