He needs time to develop in the NFL right now. He's not ready to fire those guns yet :). But then again, he gets limited reps in practice, only with the 3rd and 4th strings.

Chan Gailey likes mobile QBs and he ignored Colt McCoy in rounds 2 and 3, so there might have things about his game that are not so interesting. Actually, a lot of teams in search for a QB passed on McCoy.

I think Mccoy is the best in the draft and people say after seeing this they dont want him but this is mostly lowlights he didnt have a great game but overall he is consistant and the most acurate and smart qb going into the draft he is a pocket qb which is what you want in a qb in the NFL. Jimmy Clausen isnt all that good and will most likely be a bust like the rest of his family has.i am not a texas fan nor a notre dame hater i am just telling you what i see and my predictions. Colt Mccoy=win

@BrianPeppersFan, I just think Clausen is more "NFL Ready" but after watching more and more footage on McCoy, I have changed my mind. I like McCoy in the long run.

@TebooTedMarshall clausen will fail and be a bust just like all of the clausen family has.Mccoy is the most accurate and smartest qb going in the qb and as we know those are the qb's that make their names for themselves and become superstars. Also Mccoy does have good athleticism maybe not the best but he can scramble out of the pocket and by time to make a play down feild idk how well he will do with the browns though not great coaching there

i think with the right team like in the 2nd round, he could be a great qb. He isnt very short for an nfl Qb. In fact Brett Farve tony romo and Donavan McNabb are all his height. So overlook his height deficientcy. He isnt short. He is 6'2.

@YellowCake24 actually colt has a very quick pass and has one of the quickest releases and veolcity on the ball out of the draft. He is smart and accurate doesnt have the greatest arm strength but resembles Drew Brees and Payton Manning in his passing style. He will be a superstar and maybe get the browns a superbowl win in his career

@MrDuke32 what I ment was these were the games where he struggled so much.Texas tech he had 1 td and 2 picks... OU he passed 4 127 yards... and vs. nebraska, he rushed 4 minus 20 yards, had 3 picks, no tds passing, and went 20-34 and got 184 yards off that!

decent arm and accuracy, hes got a lot to learn though. Chad Pennington is McCoy's ceiling, maybe a tad bit higher because hes a better athlete. Hes got to work on his deep accuracy and decision making big time before he steps foot on an NFL field.
