We cannot sell him. I have seen arsenal without him in the cup and it is not a good sight. I hear we got nasri or wilshire to replace him but neither of them are at his level yet. If he does go we need 80 million for him but to be honest it looks as though he has been drove out all he wanted is what the fans wanted to buy quality players to go around him. He carries this team you will all see it when he leaves.

If wenger is smart he should build this squad around samir nasri and wilshere..its evident that cesc won't be at arsenal for long..i don't think it's the right decisionfor him to move but regardless, this arsenal team has been built around him..you can see it everytime he plays he makes such a big difference..wenger is an astute individual and he should notice this by now..doesn't seem like he has

wilshere is NOT as good a player as fabregas. it's vital we keep fabregas, he has a much better understanding with the likes of nasri, walcott and van persie. selling fabregas now would be a huge step back considering we have the best squad in the league. it's just about whether we can generate that winning mentality van persie has to the rest of the team.

But...You must mean the team must generate the winning mentality Wilshere has. seriously this guy gives 100 percent every game, while most of the others seem like they dont give a shit. He was arsenals best player AGAIN against Man Utd yesterday, Fabregas was a GHOST against barca. He has to start putting in better performances than Wilshere, because of late he has not been up to scratch.

the reason he wasn't up to scratch against barcelona was because he actually aggrevated his hamstring about 15 minutes into the game, but he was just determined to carry on playing. you're right about wilshere's winning mentality, but the reason i opted for van persie in that comment was because he's gained the experience required to lead this arsenal side through the season. a number of players could have been our motm yesterday. a great result stopped by van der sar.

@YouAreHereification fabregas has been struggling with injuries for two years now...its more of wenger's fault to not buy a true dm backup for song to protect him...wilshere's been great but he still doesn't the vision to pick out a pass like fabregas..i think even xavi doesn't pick out a pass like him...wilshere is still young
