I love bughouse! In general it is not recommended to move your g and b pawns as once the fianchettoed bishop is removed a pawn can be planted deep into your position, while often trapping the rook and threatening to stay as a queen permanently. Also, the general material rule (although this often varies) is Pawn=1, Rook=2, Bishop=2, Knight=2 and Queen=4, because long range pieces become less effective.
