Here is a reality check for you.
My policy for my wife and I runs $18,000 a year. Do you really think that John McCain providing a $5,000 tax exemption is going to do us any good?
John McCain is like most Republicans. They just can not get their asses out of the 50's.
They can not deal with reality, and they can not face facts.
You can pull 700 billion out of your asses for Wall Street, 10 billion a month for Iraq, but never enough for any healthcare benefits for our own people.

I say lead by example! McCain has plenty of money he can opt-out of government provided health care and buy his own insurance like he expects the rest of us to do. While he's at it, he can stop drawing social security too. If he's so adamant about his position of smaller government and less bureaucracy then he needs to walk the talk and lead by example not just rhetoric. This is why I have no respect for the crap he spews because it's just that, crap.

McCain is delusional if he thinks that his fucked up plan will be affordable to all but the upper 50% of wage earners. It certainly WON'T be affordable to those on a fixed income, or those who are unemployed, since he would end government support, and as a result those individuals will be dead, homeless or in jail after turning criminal to survive.

he would not END gov't support. You have no idea what you are talking about. There would be additional subsidies to the $5000 the lower your income bracket is and medicare and a form of medicaid would still be in place for those who have no way to buy insurance.

i do need help. I get it from the govt and working. I get an enormous amount from the govt. of Palm Beach County should be a role model for the country.

He's correcting him. Like a good interviewer does when any politician tries to avoid giving straight answers. Vagueness in speech is a side-effect of being a politician you know.

How is he correcting him when he won't let him talk? If anyone is being vague, it's Rose. "Do you believe everyone should have access to healthcare?" Who doesn't believe that? It's how you go about acquiring that achievement that is the issue here, and Rose keeps interrupting him before he can explain his stance.

What I meant was. It's proven that politicians rarely answer Yes or No.
They will go on and on about how it's a good and important question and how they really want to solve the problem (as if)... We must not let them. It's distracting to the ordinary people.
