I speak english and so do like 80% of the world. English is a major language and learning a new one is hard, i would know, but if your going to live in a new country or at least visit, try and learn the language, it makes life easier for you and everyone else. ahh but there is quite a difference between americans learning another language and the same thing happening in another counrty with America being so overwhelming in the international scene, online and politically, foriegn countries have a quite easy choice of multiple languages their native country's and most likely english but with america english is not only our native but it is a dominant in the world so it is a hard choice for a secondary language because you choose from secondary countries

@pogodrummer but that's the problem, i TRY tolearn it (really i do) but i can't learn 15 different languages. From arabic to spanish to chinese to korean to japanese to french to dutch to swahili and so on! there are just TOO many to learn and remember. Perhaps it was the tower of babel thing, maybe not. but i'm just saying that if youre going to bother moving into america (or any other country) learn a MAJOR language, which is english a majority of the time
