@3picpurpl3 multi melta does nothung to monolith, it has special rule where 2D penetration rolls are ignored.
And with all necron weapons, the goal isnt to destory vehicles but to maim them.
First shooting phase u glance and stuff vehicles with special rules.
Next turn the dont do anything cus they r glanced up.
This happenes 3 turns in a row and eventually u become stripped of all good weapons and immobilized (a.k.a. utterly useless) without even getting a chance to shoot back.

Deadly necrons. I have seen battles when they have destroyed an army of Green Angles and White Scars with only loosing four warriors and a couple of immortals. I'm happy not too many people play them!

To be fair the pariah knocked the terminator into the cover so you cant say he lost because he has the ability to knockback. Terminators may be able to kill them on normal cover but you probably will get kocked into bad cover eventually
I hate fighting Necrons- I've played three games against them, and I've won all of them, but in each they've wiped out most of my Marines. It was only with the assistance of the Eldar were they finally crushed. The Necron's own false gods, the C'tan were summoned as a result, (twice the Nightbringer, once the Deceiver) and they were defeated.

Necrons aren't that good over all. A good and upgraded army can take on a monolith, no problem. When getting into melee is when your troops are gonna have trouble (I think the Necrons were designed to be melee specialists in this game)
what i think is not fair is that most necron units have knock back attacks. (like they knock down an enemy everytime they melee) but yeah i guess it was meant for the necrons to win :/

@jamreaper well, technically the "Star Gods" arnt actually gods, in the same way that te Emporor isnt a god. and even though the inquisition is vigilant, it doesnt stop whole chapters falling into chaos. the imperium is doomed. necrons cant die (exept if they are killed by the Blades of Vaul) the tyranids are numberless, the eldar will retreat into the webway, and chaos will pour forth deamons. The Tau will eventually get to terra and unplug the Emperor.

@jamreaper i dissagree. the eldar fell because half of them became obsessed with murder, and all the souls that died became slannesh. the only ones who survived were the ones on the craft worlds and some exodite worlds. chaos did not come out of nowhere with the imperium either, horus got himself healed by some chaos cultist, and the chaos gods got to him that way. you misunderstand my point about the phycic presence. see part 2 (again)
@jamreaper the emporer has a much bigger phycic presence than he did when Horus was around, and no being with presence in the warp can come near him. seeing as the Tau have no presence, only they could approach the emporer without being utterly annialated.
They can be permantly destroyed... It's just hard.... And 9/10 times you damage a necron enough to stop functioning, he teleports back to a tomb and gets repaired (so you have to damage them so much even that stops functioning). Their not immortal, they can be destroyed, it's just piss hard and theirs a good chance they just come back after being repaired. But they CAN permantly destroyed, you just need to basicly vaporize them thats all or they'll be teleported and repaired.
No they are immortal there is a small part of there soul thats inside the necron that gets place into a new body if its vaporised..so really yea body might not be immortal but that part surly is XD

i collect a necron army and i have multiple times used a unit of five pariahs against large units of terminatiors you win some u loose some but its an unfair matchup the necrons can auto wound on a six that and with a strength 4 assault two weapon that also is a power weapon that ignores invulnerable saves iss just too good to be killed by space marine scum
but WTF a predator vs heavy destroyer its a TANK VS A IMMORTAL MONTED ON A SKIMMER BODY who will winn the destroyer costs 50pts and the predator with h bolters costs about 110pts and a pariahs costs 16 pts and a assult terminator costs 40pts AND A WARSHYTHE(pariahs weapon)has a built in guass blaster counts as a power weapon that rolls 2D6 aginst vehicles and ignores invunerabel saves(AND A PARIAHS IS STONGER THEN A SPACE MARINE) the pariahs have S5 and a s marine have S4 i the tabl top game
Statistically seen all duels favour the Necros (Except the one necros lord vs force commander, which was a bit strange, it was the only duel where you couldnt see the health).
Oh, BTW, wtf was up with the Heavy Destroyer and Predator? The Pred was kitted out for attacking infantry, not tanks, no fair. Given even a single anti-vehicle weapon out of the three available would change things.

One assault terminator might beat one Pariah, but when both squads are fully reinforced the Pariahs will win.
The Necron Lord winning against other commanders later in the game is heavily dependent on what upgrades he's given.

Necrons aren't that good over all. A good and upgraded army can take on a monolith, no problem. When getting into melee is when your troops are gonna have trouble (I think the Necrons were designed to be melee specialists in this game)

what i think is not fair is that most necron units have knock back attacks. (like they knock down an enemy everytime they melee) but yeah i guess it was meant for the necrons to win :/

@Animeprovider123 ok firstly the emperor imprisoned the void dragon and he is being eternally watched over by a guardian so he will not necesarrily ever wake up
secondly this is not just a fight between the imperium and the necrons
i seem to remember the eldar holding a particular grudge against them
also the inquisition is constantly vigilant so for the deceiver getting into the imperium was the easiest part
and whoose to say a psychic attack cannot destroy your gods souls albeit a strong one

@jamreaper well, technically the "Star Gods" arnt actually gods, in the same way that te Emporor isnt a god. and even though the inquisition is vigilant, it doesnt stop whole chapters falling into chaos. the imperium is doomed. necrons cant die (exept if they are killed by the Blades of Vaul) the tyranids are numberless, the eldar will retreat into the webway, and chaos will pour forth deamons. The Tau will eventually get to terra and unplug the Emperor.

secondly the tau? theres no way they would get to terra before the tyranids or chaos - or possibly necrons if the void dragon escapes from mars -
thirdly u r forgetting magnus the red :) if the emperor is finally killed or unplugged then there is always a chance that he would take his place (read "a thousand sons")

@jamreaper well, the tau are constantly developing new technology (see codex exiled cadre, if EXILED tau can do this, imagen what the empire can do) and presuming the tau DO get to Terra, the imperium will be crippled, so they wont pose much of a threat anyway. and i REALLY want the Eldar to die, beause then all the souls in the infinity matrix will converge into the Death God, who will kill slannesh. even if the Tyranids/Chaos/Necrons got to terra, they all have a presence in the warp-see part2

@Metanator hahahaha horus permernantly crippled the emperor and he had quite a big presence in the warp - besides the necrons have no presence in the warp and the void dragon is on mars - plus tau are not going to get to terra anytime soon - besides they have some humans integrated into their society as auxillary so they do not desire the death of the human race - besides anything though their true downfall is what u mentioned - they have no presence in the warp - see part 2 for explanation

@Metanator all the two biggest forces in the galaxy were eldar (massivly psychic) and the imperium of man ( whoose emperor is the most powerful psychic being in the mortal realm)
im gonna go ahead and assume u r some kind of tau collector/supporter - but they are yet to follo the same patterns the big races before them have - eldar did really well untill suddenly out of nowhere chaos came and destroyed em - likewise with the imperium - so logically the tau will fall the same way

@jamreaper i dissagree. the eldar fell because half of them became obsessed with murder, and all the souls that died became slannesh. the only ones who survived were the ones on the craft worlds and some exodite worlds. chaos did not come out of nowhere with the imperium either, horus got himself healed by some chaos cultist, and the chaos gods got to him that way. you misunderstand my point about the phycic presence. see part 2 (again)

@jamreaper the emporer has a much bigger phycic presence than he did when Horus was around, and no being with presence in the warp can come near him. seeing as the Tau have no presence, only they could approach the emporer without being utterly annialated.

They can be permantly destroyed... It's just hard.... And 9/10 times you damage a necron enough to stop functioning, he teleports back to a tomb and gets repaired (so you have to damage them so much even that stops functioning). Their not immortal, they can be destroyed, it's just piss hard and theirs a good chance they just come back after being repaired. But they CAN permantly destroyed, you just need to basicly vaporize them thats all or they'll be teleported and repaired.

i collect a necron army and i have multiple times used a unit of five pariahs against large units of terminatiors you win some u loose some but its an unfair matchup the necrons can auto wound on a six that and with a strength 4 assault two weapon that also is a power weapon that ignores invulnerable saves iss just too good to be killed by space marine scum

but WTF a predator vs heavy destroyer its a TANK VS A IMMORTAL MONTED ON A SKIMMER BODY who will winn the destroyer costs 50pts and the predator with h bolters costs about 110pts and a pariahs costs 16 pts and a assult terminator costs 40pts AND A WARSHYTHE(pariahs weapon)has a built in guass blaster counts as a power weapon that rolls 2D6 aginst vehicles and ignores invunerabel saves(AND A PARIAHS IS STONGER THEN A SPACE MARINE) the pariahs have S5 and a s marine have S4 i the tabl top game

Oh, BTW, wtf was up with the Heavy Destroyer and Predator? The Pred was kitted out for attacking infantry, not tanks, no fair. Given even a single anti-vehicle weapon out of the three available would change things.
