  • brilliant! thats one shiny ass strat!

thats my kind of music right there!

  • Your playing is great but I dislike this video because you didn't explain anything about how you use the pod....

  • I hear many slash licks there ;)

  • Licklibrary guys, could you do new dvd for Line6 HD series?

  • do you teach this on this dvd?

  • PLease start using fast track pros or REAL sound cards for amp sims, cause they dont sound good with out a good sound card, and pods are making every guitar sound the same >:P

  • Who is this guy? His pentatonic style really packs a punch!

  • @gh0stmasta Ross Bailey.

  • Excellent!

  • I can't help but think about how many positive comments this vid would get complimenting him on "his great tone" and "what amp are you using?' if nobody knew it was made with a Line 6 POD.

    Just sayin... :P

  • sounds pretty good.

  • Digital sound produced... with a strat?

  • @Teque86 indeed.

  • My Dad's got a Line POD 2.0, and i'm sorry to say it, but it sucks : /

  • @CharvelDude94 Lol Brandon small from the "cartoon" band dethklok uses Pods for recording... I would say his tone is pretty awesome. Though I have to say I still prefer Marshalls and stuff way more then a line 6 amp or anything else....

  • In my opinion, line 6 is for beginners who can't afford "real" expensive amps, not for pro... it's disgusting to see pros play on line 6's pod =(

  • @tsylong - Indeed, they represent good value for money, not so sure about them being used in a live situation. I use guitar rig/amplitube at home, but because I don't play live it's fine for me. But on stage, I'd want a proper amp and that

  • @tsylong Not all pros can afford "real" expensive amps. A true guitarist sounds good in any amp, and he sounds great with a POD.

  • @MyEverConstantSmile

thats not true when it comes to metal

if you have a shit amp, your gunna sound like shit

  • @mrpants16 No, thats not true, If you play metal a 50 bucks transistor amp with high gain will be sufficient. tube amps for real crunchy classical sound...

  • @seckin12

    yeah i suppose

but if you want to compete with your drummer, something better would be required

  • @tsylong well thats the point of pedals in the first place there used to boost something or give you something your amp alone doesnt have and i mean as far as moddleing goes line 6 is the shit and i mean there amps sound pretty good for the price and can be used for small gigs but if your getting into the medium to large shows where every little thing is cretiqued then its best to get say a marshall, peavy, ect half stack for playing so you have more volume and better tone though alot of pro

  • @tsylong pro artists use line 6 modulation pedals or the line 6 variax guitar live and it sounds amazing when pushed through a quality tube amp

  • OK, perhaps there are many Strats with Floyds out there, but that was the first I've seen besides mine. I've got a '82 Strat (Dan Smith era) with a Floyd Rose and always get comments about it.

  • A strat with a Floyd, and a Line 6 shirt, there are so many things wrong with this

  • @nezmaster1 Didn't some guy named Eddie make a Strat with a Floyd cool, a long time ago?

  • @Infmda488 There's a difference from looking cool to sounding good.

  • @nezmaster1 so are you saying the sound isn't great? because thats what they are reviewing

  • @nezmaster1

Thats nothing wrong with the sound.

  • @nezmaster1 What's wrong with a floyd on a strat? Maybe guitarist's, who I assume are much better than you, would disagree that it's a bad idea. Maiden and Sambora to name a few.

  • @nezmaster1 so little you know about guitar history. floyd rose was designing a new floating tremelo system and the locking nut back in the late 70's early 80's and what do you think he first put it on? a 1950's style strat. people like gilmour and halen fitted the system on their strats. little fun fact for ya

  • @nezmaster1 Maybe, but I bet he makes his strat sound better than yours...

  • ... why buy a POD when you have a VT40+ by Vox? :)

  • @xboxnissan because the pod live or pod 2.0 offers some affects and a better modled sound in some instances than the vox the vox beats the shit out of the line 6 clean and mid gain tones but line 6 for high gain rapes voxs modleing plus the tube preamp sound of the vox boosts the realism of the line 6 tone even closer to what its supposed to emulate

  • kinda outdated.. hehehe u guys should have the x3 live and hd500 videos.!!

  • good job

  • those things(PODs) sounds just , fake!!

  • @NikitasTsaousis thats where impulses come into play

  • I don't know why, but I just love watching your videos :)

  • @rafalpovet

There is nothing wrong with the sound at all.Me think its the other way around.;)

  • cool:D
