So if a politician sleeps with another woman and doesn't want his wife to know, he can apply for one. Otherwise they're swarmed by lawyers.

@BelfastAtheist Not at all. She threw the Murdochs a lifeline by suggesting that hacking was common at most British tabloid newspapers. She admittedly threw in some soundbites about Rupert Murdoch resigning, before telling him she admired his “immense courage” after he was custard-pied. Not particularly harsh or intense questioning of a man whose organisation allegedly hacks phones.
As you can tell I'm not a great fan of her!

@bertyUK I don't remember saying I liked Harman. In fact - I can't stand her. Also, I'm not sure I get the notion of 'male humour', especially as I don't think you have to be female to not find it funny (I, myself, am male).
I know you were joking, but a lot of people judge women first and foremost by their appearances. This isn't the end of the world for girlfriends/wives, but when this shallowness rears its head in politics, it is quite concerning.

In the case of Ryan Giggs, he slept with a lot of women and one decided to make it public knowledge (as is the right of expression). If I knew someone was being unfaithful, I'd be within my rights to expose it. However, Giggsy chose to take said person to court and argued her right to express herself would infringe his right to privacy, which is total bollocks. He chose to fuck around with these women, they can expose that.

Draconian secrecy exists in Family Law in which apportioning children contact with their divorced parents!!!!! It's a worry the officers (namely CAFCASS) determining the quanta's of contact have NO TRAINING OR GUIDELINES to apportion the contact and hide behind "every case is different". To improve quality many cases need to be picked and random at all the evidence heard in an open court. There's a large body of opinion saying the secrecy exists to hide the lack of officers training.

Not a single mention of HIS injunction was made in either House, even though it was widely known about throughout Westminster for the entire period. What backroom deals were done to ensure this stunning silence from our representatives? Might it perhaps have skewed some of the BBC’s political coverage?
