great job..nice training gear..lol..ever think of using real training gear..we all crash ,but you really shoul read directions and use reral training gear.wouldnt be to funny if you smacked yourself or someone else in the head as you dont know how to fly..lol
other than the fact the REAL training gear is twisted 45degrees, makes no difference. In fact most gear like that makes training harder, as they bounce around all over the place. Train on a sim, and get a heli that actually works well, like a blade 400, good enough for learning, or even a CX2
meh buy a car not a helicopter i had a heli befor my cars and i spent more money on new wings and little parts than the actual helicopter itself NOT WORTH IT
That sucks, as an honest advice, spend a lot of time in the simulator before starting to fly a chopper. I have a nitro raptor 30 which I flown 5 to 7 times, every time I crash, I have to spend $200 for a crash kit. Therefore, I decided to go back to nitro cars. The chopper is now in my basement inside its original box and never flown for the last 3 years.
haha, it looks sooo hard! The pro's make it look so easy, but when u have such a small machine with so much RPM I guess it would get pretty hectic! Nice.
Mate, these heli's are a piece of crap. You end up spending more in parts, than the things worth. Cut your losses and buy a better one, like a rexy or something.
i did the same thing stupid i had it all set up but didn't consider the space i need to do hovering, i was so excited i squeezed the throttle real hard it break the head now i feel sorry for not taking proper precaution...
well shit happends... but you were right the first time... it's not safe there... that said, the 'thing' you have stuck on your skids are off balanced... get a proper training kit. when you broke the right skid, you should have stopped NOT take the 'training' gear off and fly again.....
hay, all who want to get into helis, go pick up a honey bee king 2, from xheli or hobby-looby, or just google it. it's a very desint and reliable heli for a very good price (under $200!!!)
First mistake they made was put those strong pieces of wood under the helicopter as training kit. Wood isn't flexible, so first time the heli bang on the floor that was expected to happen...broke the landing gear.. Second mistake, fly it without landing gear, that would be like trying to run a car without wheels. Strange people. ;-)
I recommend getting the Axe Cp from helimax. It is much tougher than the NR 3d. I would have kept that training gear on. It would make your training experience so much better.
I also had a Venom Night Ranger 3D and I have to say, it was a piece of shite. Even my mate who is a very experienced pilot hated it. Do yourself a favour and go buy a decent chopper.
All crashes hurt! You have to crawl before you can walk. Thanks for posting it.

One shouldn't fly with broken landing gear. Be patient...if it's broken then fix it and try again. Ask me how I know!
