  • So she can't take baths anymore? That sucks.

  • what are these they've put in her sexy thighs at 9:40?

  • ...how'd she power down the car's too? Are Metropolis's cars powered off the same grid as the lights somehow? Or was that some kinda EMP?

  • she sure learned how to use her powers fast

  • So, she's obnoxious and weak? All you have to do is throw a pail of water on her and she's down.

  • I hav a dream In which we could live in a world were soldiers were honored and needed, where all mercenaries can live to control there destinies for themselves, but not like a country, but a haven to which theyll abandon their countries to form a world were they are needed.

  • Supes pissed Tank Girl off.

  • hell yeah! Lori Petty is fuckin tight ass fuck!

  • hey, she darkened Metropolis, where was Batman??

  • Am I the only one that has noticed she's Livewire in EVERY Livewire thing!

  • @Sladieslade Lori Petty I mean

  • Could I get one of those prints?

  • Gdamit, she makes me wanna play CoV again!! XD

  • She sucked the entire citys power supply and had to recharge minute later? Hmmm

  • 2:49

As everyone knows, when you ionize air it turns into latex. SCIENCE!

    6:20

"I already have my gloves on! But my hands got itchy while you were talking. So I took them off and put them back on."

    6:24

"I came prepared this time. I brought my dish-washing gloves! Your 100,000,000 volts are no match for 3mm of rubber on my hands! "

  • @BlueSaryu

    lmaoo.

  • "well,at least now we know you hit girls",good line!I like the way a sassy and loudmouth tomboy disk jockey gets endowed with one of the most raw forces of nature making her a bit of a bully just like the electricty she inherited.I think girl supervillains are underrated even though they kickass.Livewire is the best!

  • *gasp*

She has the same powers as Storm - creating clothes with electricity !

  • she sounds like Jackie from thats so 70's

  • Bitch Leslie! She was warned many times of the dangers, bashed Superman for her own selfish reasons, and expected Superman to save her? Superman at least attempted to rescue her; what did everyone else do? They just ran, even the cops. So when something bad happens to her she completely blames Superman? Isn't like he pushed her INTO the lightning. Leslie truly represents the evil of Humans. When something bad happens to us we are quick to place blame onto others. Leslie (Livewire), you suck.

  • Who's golden jet was that?

  • @TheRobAlva Maybe Lex Luthor was passing through

  • Tank Girl's mind + Jet Girl's body + 20,000 volts = Livewire

  • And thats the story of freakazoids ex girlfriend.

  • @Itsallover57 good one roflz

  • @Itsallover57

    LOL! XD

  • Lori Petty has the best voice!

  • To be quite honest I've never understood the motivations behind characters like LiveWire and Clayface.Yeah they were struck with a tragedy but they came out of it with some cool powers... why would I be mad about that?Clayface you might can understand for the first few minutes but once he had control of his ability I see no reason to carry on the vendetta.LiveWire is the same you received more power than you know what to do with. What are you mad about?

  • @gamesmaster35 True. Although with clayface he eventually began deteriorating and he didnt have the money to fund his treatments so he had to steal but then he deteriorated in a lake or w/e. But I guess Livewire just got power hungry, saw she had the ability and decided to try n take over. she coulda been a valuable hero but it's just not in her I guess lolol

  • @Millina Maybe but given what Clayface could do he would make one hell of a CIA agent and or mercenary for hire or what have you.I'm sure being that valuable in exchange for scientific knowledge to help your condition (and a sizeable income of course) the man wouldn't have much to worry about. But I do get your point... and I doubt I would be thinking so clearly if I was the one actually going through it.

  • @gamesmaster35 Clayface was severely mentally ill in this cartoon (well, not this one, but Batman). A lot of people do end up using their powers to make money, but he couldn't because his mind didn't work that way. He wanted to be an actor, and his disintegrating body made that almost impossible even after he controlled his powers. He doesn't even seem to be able to take a human form for too long, and God knows what he must smell like now after mixing with all kinds of pollution in the Earth!

  • @gamesmaster35 She hated Superman already, and the fact that she blames him for her humiliation and disfigurement (Well, not exactly disfigured, but you get what I mean) made it worse. The somewhat different backstory they gave her in the comics made her hate him even more (In that, her constant belittlement of Superman gets her fired from her radio station).

  • the guy that guy makes at 5:15 right before the cut is his "I came" face.

  • Sorry kids can't play with u anymore...

I got other fish to fry!!!

  • livewire is sexy in her black outfit

  • if any of ya see her on bman, you'll know she's a total JERK ta me!!

  • @TheHarleyQuinn12

I saw, Harl. Although, I think the term "BITCH" is much more accurate. ;)

  • livewire kind of looks like freakazoid to me

  • Yeah her powers are cool and fun but she's such a spoilt brat, it kinda ruins it for me.....

  • @curlzferrero Yeah. Apparently getting electrocuted also gave her super strength as well. SMH

  • At least she likes her powers, I was watching S.Spiderman and like Electro and some other villains hated when they go their powers :|

  • fudge some ppl these days. poor superman. he told those weeners to get out of there and when that stupid brat gets hurt, they're all mad at the guy who's trying to save their butts!!!

  • omg..... 0:17 is that reporter seth mcfarlene?? (family guy)

  • @DonTheTurtleDude It's the guy who does the voice of the Tick and Sentinel Prime.

  • She used to be just an obnoxious teenager with a radio show. Now she's an obnoxious teenager with superpowers.

Still, she can't hold a candle to Lex, Joker or other DC villains, right?

  • "I ionize the air around me" - does that mean she runs around . . . . naked?

  • no the fact is superman stated in Justice league unlimited that he has to constantly hold back or he could kill someone so that the reason he get whoped around and stuff

  • I love her powers

  • Did Bruce Timm have anything to do with the design/creation of LiveWire in this show? She bears a lot more than a passing resemblance to the basic design of Freakazoid/Freakazette (blue skin, spiky hair, the spiky widow's peak, even the tie to electricity). If they ever made Freakazette, THIS would be her attitude, look, and signature superpower! Only for the forces of good instead of the forces of evil. BTW, is it just me, or does Geeky Redhaired Photographer Guy sound like David Kaufman?

  • @ztslovebird Freakazoid and Livewire were both characters that Bruce Timm created like he did Harley Quinn (I don't think he's as attached to Freakazoid as he is his other characters cause he created him more for Steven Spielberg), so there's probably going to be some similarities.

  • She's my favorite superman villian. It would be cool to see this character in a movie!

  • i love supergirl!!!

  • livewire looks like freakazoids sister

  • @Naijarianman I was just thinking the same thing! But Freakazoid never had a sister; the closest equivilent is Freakazette, a female . . . I don't know what you'd call her; superhero, sidekick, partner, counterpart, something. Anyway, she cameo'd in the first episode, but never got her chance to shine. No one knows how she came to be, who she is when she's not Freak'd Out, or anything about her personality. We can only imagine about the superheroine that never was :(

  • You know, I would love to see her versus Static! XD

  • @Eliyora I know, right?!

  • I've always been a huge fan of Livewire, going too cosplay her next year at Comic con so should be fun =) thanks for posting these up! Its much appreciated =)

  • Man, I miss the old Batman-Superman adventures. Livewire is voiced by Tank girl cooooool!!!!!!!!

  • 0:06 animation fail.

  • It amazes me that within a few minutes of her realizing her power, she understands and can control it's full extent

  • @Brok3nC4rrot It's basically done for the sake of plot/less time consumption. Especially since these episodes are usually done within less than 25 minutes.

  • she look a like female version of freakazoid

  • the hell is here problem? she went from a snob talk show radio host, finding out she has electrical power. now wants to blow shit up XD

  • @TBOGmorris1113

DC Comics' Villain Style: Human Jerk, Gains Powers, Mutant Freak Obsessed With World Domination Out Of The Blue.

The Moral DC comics pass end up being "No Powers Is Better"? Well, there ain't no super powers in real world, but it still sucks. Or maybe I'm being too rational...

  • @DeathMessenger1988 Lex Luthor? genius yes, super powered? no. And he's still an asshole. It basically depends on the person.

  • @BlackShadowGX

Still, he is rich and, as you pointed out, a genious. Those could be considered his "powers".

  • @BlackShadowGX

But still, it's amazing just how many guys just get the power and go nuts and "Conquer The World" evil.

Examples: Livewire, Poison Ivy, Smallvile Metahuman Villains(Which are MANY), Parasite, Bang Babies from Static Shock, etc...

While some where certainly droven mad by personal problems, some of them, like Livewire, were sane. They just get the powers and go nuts!

  • @DeathMessenger1988 I know but as of this point I'm getting worn out of explaining alot of this stuff in general involving Superheros and Villains.

Yeah, Livewire was sane but one could tell she was an egotistical harpy at her core. So she technically wasn't a good person at heart and when she got power it triggered something within her.

I can't wait to hear Supes is OP(overpowered) reply to my other comments.

  • @BlackShadowGX

True. Still, another thing is how fast they learn to control the power, when the other fiction heroes take, at least, from days to years to learn to control it.

Nah, I don't need to state the obvious. In fact, I prefer Marvel over DC Comics, since the heroes are more challenged.

  • @DeathMessenger1988 Hmm so Bizarro, Doomsday, Mongul, General Zod, Ultraman, & Darkseid aren't challenges to Superman? Ares, Circe, Hades, & Hercules for Wonder Woman? That's a big BS statement you said. I can name several villains whom not only beat the heroes on a regular basis in DC and are big challenges every time they appear.

Marvel pulls the same BS stuff DC does and vice versa. Neither company is Superior to another. This fuel to fire only fanboys use.

  • @BlackShadowGX

I'm not exactly fan of the comics, but it seems to me that the guys who can kick Superman's ass don't appear much.

I said I PREFER Marvel over DC comics, not that they were superior or anything. Know what's another thing DC comics has in fault that Marvel is trying to correct on themselves? American Propaganda. I mean, I can name, without checking on wikipedia, 3 or 4 heroes from DC Comics whose clothing scream "AMERICA POSTER BOY/GIRL" all over. It gets eye-rolling. No offense.

  • @DeathMessenger1988 I don't get why a costume color bothers you. Most of the ones you can think of weren't made to be overly patriotic like Captain America. Most of marvels early heroes were made to beat the commies. Supes, wonder woman ect existed before the patriotic fervor of the world war 2 era.

  • @GadGades

Okay, so, at first, it was justified... depending on your views. Yet, decades later and they still hold the same "America is Greater than You" outlook. Still, I was just pointing it out. I had even forgotten I commented on this video!

  • @DeathMessenger1988 I just don't know where you get that America greater than you thing. I just don't see it especially from DC. I mean, crime infested cities? Wonder woman isn't even American, and Superman is an Alien. That just wouldn't come up in any average story. And Marvel was the one that fought the soviets.

  • @GadGades

Yeah, but they keep this message even if they aren't American. Watch that Justice Lords' episode ending, with the flag rising and all that. Or Dan Turpin's death. It just scream Nationalism all over it. Or I may be too paranoid, but it's there.

  • @DeathMessenger1988 I remember turpin's death and there was nothing overly nationalistic in terms of america itself. A guy died fighting against invaders, that's considered heroic everywhere. And there's nothing particularly political in the justice lords episode other than lex becoming president.

  • @GadGades

Actually, there was. Right after the Justice Lords are depowered and the fight is over, Superman randomly raises a American flag in the prison director's officer. And it's not screen corner, it makes a full scene of it.

  • @DeathMessenger1988 ahh yeah that did happen. well I think its a shame that's turned you off DC heroes.

  • @GadGades

Actually, this was hardly the reason. I simply lost my liking for heroes in general. After all, Anti-heroes and villains are SO much more fun! XD

  • @BlackShadowGX

Plus the fact that anyone who can kick Superman's ass has to have kriptonite, magic, divine power or one heck of a help(These generally lose because the other guy decides to backstab them, cue to next episode from Livewire). And from what I could perceive from Justice League Unlimited, HE NEVER FOUGHT AT HIS FULL POWER TILL DARKSIDE! So, I mean, he could have iced all non-god enemies he fought so far with a finger flick?!

  • @DeathMessenger1988 And Marvel has the biggest American Cheesecake of them all. Your point?

Hmm, Doomsday, Brainiac, Zod, Mongul, & Bizarro are fairly common well Doomsday is a slight exception but neither of them use magic nor Kryptonite to beat down Superman, Hank Henshaw is another one who uses neither magic nor Kryptonite. The ones who are common for using Kryptonite are lex Luthor or Metallo.

None of Superman's rogues have used any divine power on a specific situation, unless

  • @DeathMessenger1988 The villain was in fact a God of some sorts but even then it's the entire JL going against them not just Superman. The Space being Gog was the actual one who killed Superman rather easily and he's a God. Darkseid's never actually lost to Supes until Final Crisis, but Supes has beaten his weak avatars and only beat Darkseid in FC due to his original body being destroyed and the Radion slowly killing him.

Marvel has as many faults as DC, get over it.

  • For the last time, I'm not saying Marvel is better. Just saying they are correcting it. Have you missed Captain America's death and Spiderman's black suit redress? DC Comics have Superman, Supergirl, Wonderwoman(Beats me why her clothing is red and blue with stars, since she's an amazon!!), Stargirl... And they never die and stay dead. Plus the fact the heroes never pass by some Heroic BSDM that lasts more than some pages.

  • @DeathMessenger1988 And it takes 1 writer to screw up your entire continuity as well, don't argue for fixing anything.

It was meant to show the US she wasn't an enemy to them when she showed up, and her loyalty has never been to USA, Themyscira, or any nation on the planet.

Read or look at interviews relating to Blackest Knight, death will be permanent after that event for DC, they themselves are trying to fix things as well.

But never, ever count on anything set in stone for comics at all.

  • @BlackShadowGX

True, Retcons are pretty common nowadays.

  • @DeathMessenger1988 I like I said, it only takes 1 person to screw up an entire continuity for a character(Wonder Woman) or even an entire Universe(Marvel's Ultimate). And usually when that happens it takes their respective companies a while in order to fix it or the next writer in charge completely ignores it altogether, like Grant Morrison ignoring Countdown when he wrote Final Crisis.

  • @DeathMessenger1988 poison ivy, eco terrorist, those happend in real life with or without powers, she was also a criminal before she had any powers in both the comics and the cartoon. Parasite was also committing a crime when he became super powered in the cartoons. Most of static's villains were gang bangers to begin with, they got their powers during a gang war.

  • @GadGades

Well, there were some guys who weren't gang members and, yet, just went nuts after getting powers, though not all of them. I mean, if, say, Replay wanted people to admire him again, why not make a show with his powers and gain fortunes? Of course, humans tend to be bastards around mutants/meta-humans, even though they would just love to have said powers. Frankly, comic writers just tend to write themselves into a dead end when they reach this issue of "Powers: Good or Bad?"

  • @DeathMessenger1988 You're right that replay didn't have much of a reason. Or why he would even get exposed. I don't think writers care about whether powers are good or bad. It's just what happends when you give a criminal powers. There's different type of criminals, not just career criminals. The problem is once you make a good criminal, you have to keep them going.

  • @GadGades

Still, there's this whole "if you aren't a superhero, then you're a supervillain" shade at times. I hardly see ANY character who's got powers and ain't part of Justice League or the bad guys, usually small kids.

  • @DeathMessenger1988 You see them pop up sometimes. I remember this flash comic from the past five years at least where the flash got a part time job watching old movies at super speed and the guy that hired him was a meta and he talked about how most metas either don't have useful abilities or they get niche jobs that use them, or they get regular job and don't really use them daily.

  • @DeathMessenger1988 She had an axe to grind even before. She said she had to work harder than the guys ect. Plus she hated superman a lot, then she blames him for turning her blue. Then she gets a ton of seemingly infinite power to do anything that she wants.

  • @GadGades

Well... I would probably do the "Conquer the World" gig if I got powers too. XD

Also, I must have missed this part. When does she say she had work harder than guys?

  • @DeathMessenger1988 When Lois Lane asks her what her deal after the interview.

  • Superman's actually...weak.

  • yes she might be anoying but she isent have bad as a villin thogh

  • That psycho should be put in Arkham Asylum, She is a nasty little madwoman !

  • @Sweetgirl2272 Arkham can't even hold the Joker, what makes you think it could any or the superpowered villains?

  • Why that obnoxious little witch ! Who does she think she is !

  • Psycho Freakazoid !

  • Her voice is so annoying

  • She may be hot but she is evil! No matter what she did to superman, superman will never kill her....

  • @TheWorldpeace001

    Maybe cause he's dumb?

  • 4:16, Does anyone else think that that fax machine gag would be something that Freakazoid would do? In fact, livewire seems to be an evil female version of Freakazoid.

  • I wish that life-threatening conditions and situations actually had the effects in superhero comics/shows...Hey, ya get struck by lightning channeled through electronic equipment? Bam! Control electricity instead of dying. Fall in radioactive waste! Get superpowers instead of a tumor.

  • @zetanato I think cuz it flowed from Superman to Her, his kryptonian genetics changed the electricity? Giving her abilities?

  • @terror0earth

    They did it on Smallvile...

  • @zetanato I think superman was the reason Livewire has her powers in the first place. the lightning hit superman first, then got transferred to Livewire. At least thats my theory

  • @zetanato supes is part of the equation as well

  • @zetanato Perhaps in the future that'll be the cure for cancer.

"Mrs. Smith, I'm sorry to have to tell you this but..."

"Give it to me, straight, Doc. I can take it."

"You have a malignant tumor in your colon. It's cancerous."

    "You mean..."

"Yes. You now have heat vision. I'm... I'm so sorry."

    "AWESOME!!"!

  • @zetanato Actually i noticed something when i watched this episode again. It wasn't just that she was hit by an electric current; she was hit by an electric current that went through Superman straight to her. Something about Superman's physiology must have had a residual effect on Livewire.

That said, i totally agree with your point! ^_^

  • @927541 I agree. Superman, in the comics, has a special bio aura that absorbs energy from the sun. I would imagine that his aura passed onto her and mixed with the lightning caused her to become living energy: lightning blasts, super strength, flight, etc.

  • could superman kick her bratty ass if he used his heat vision, and freeze breath at the same time. the ice would melt, and the water would short circuit her.

  • "At least now we know you'll hit girls"

    I love you LiveWire!

  • In the Army

  • So pretty much all you need to defeat her is a bucket of water?! Maybe 2 buckets.

  • superman is so weak because originally he was so powerfull no one could hurt him

so to add drama they had to weaken him, original superman would take that lightning without even flinching, then he'd smack her around like the bitch livewire is, after that she'd either be dead or every bone in her body would look like dust

  • @promethiusnbob I think Livewire is sexy, but she's more of a Batman villain. She's not on par with Superman villains like Metallo and Brainiac.

  • ...... I'd do it. :p

  • Isnt there an episode where her Harley and Ivy team or something? I saw a clip of them together or something

  • her voice is kinda annoying after a while

  • she looks like Harley Quinn when she smiles at 2:31. which is fine cause both of them are funny and cool.

  • @SuperGirlShayera: harley is cute isn`t she??.

but yes thats right like harley

  • Tank GIRL!!!!

  • Batman and Superman both came back strong with great 1990's shows...

And each one had a great new villiainess that was good and obnoxious...

    Harley Quinn, Livewire, Livewire, H.Q.

  • don't she kiss somebody i remember she kiss somebody and shock him on which episode

  • it was double dose.

  • ii looooveee heerrrrr

  • She's PURE ENERGY!...Even though there's no such thing. But it doesn't matter because it's effin COOL!

  • actually their is everything is made of energy in fact mass is just a condinced form of it check E=MC2

mass/matter and energy are two sides of the same coin.

  • She learned how to use her powers fast as hell lmbo

  • always loved Livewire...partly b/c she's voiced by Lori Petty (Tank Girl) and her character rocks!

  • @Gambitgirl1974

FINALLY! Someone else knows about Tank Girl!!! Lori Petty $%^&* ROX!!!

    & I #&^* LOVE Livewire!!!

  • @Gambitgirl1974 thats right!!!!!

  • Now that's good TV! Thanks for uploading!!

  • i like the smile at 2:31

  • i aggre angleididntdie

  • she just ionized the air? sooo shes naked? XP heh. also she sounds like mila kunis

  • wadda bitch...shes annoying and stupid...but she's got killer powers

  • i hate her voice

  • is this lori petty's voice?

  • Yep. As has been said by others, she makes the character work pretty much all on her own.

  • yes

  • Yes that is her voice.

  • Why do all newly transformed supervillians instantly know how to use their powers to the max? How did she know she could do that? Forget flying, she at least could have spent a week till she learned about her powers.

  • I actually have a pretty good theory about why he gets smacked around so much. A lot of his opponents are superhumanly strong and tough, but less so than him. Well, it's not like he can just look at them and instantly know how much of his ridiculous strength they can endure.

So he gets smacked around when he starts out low because he doesn't want to hurt anyone and then he just ups his strength level until he finds one that works.

  • Agreed Superboy Prime is a very good example of what can happen if Superman just lets loose on anybody and everybody. Forget the villian he could destroy the planet.

  • I hate Superboy Prime.... He's ruining DC.

  • I 100% Agree with you....it also brothers me that they're planning to "redeem" him in the black as night series x.x;......hopefully they mean redeem him through death.

  • Comment removed

  • @FatherofSerpents yeah thats what I always thought. And it was confirmed in the last episode of JLU Superman told Darkside that he always holds back so no one gets hurt, not even the enemy and then he let loose on Darkside like crazy. If he fought serious like that all the time, Metropolis wouldn't be standing

  • @FatherofSerpents Makes sense. It wouldn't be pretty if Supes accidentally misjudged an opponent and crushed him/her to death.

  • @FatherofSerpents magic, electricity, and kryptonite are Sups known weaknesses.

  • @ToDallasFromBoston depends on the Kryptonite, green is pretty laughable at this point, magic he just has no defense for, it's not a weakness. & Electricity has only been for Golden Age & energy based Superman.

  • @FatherofSerpents You actually have no idea how close to the truth you are about Supes and most of his rogue gallery.

That's one of the better understandings anyone has had.

  • @FatherofSerpents That's not just a theory; that's the truth. That's what he said in the very last episode of Justice League Unlimited, right before he shows his true strength when fighting... well, I don't want to spoil it.

  • @FatherofSerpents Notice that Superman rarely suffers any really bad injuries, like broken bones or huge gashes. Maybe it's cuz this is a kids' show, but we can decide he's trying to pull punches.

  • @LordBifford

That's probably why he's vulnerable to electricity in the animated series, to some extent, since it rarely leaves visible injuries.

But we can assume he's holding back because he's vastly stronger and tougher than most of his opponents and never accidentally caves in someone's skull. Unless he has the ability to tell automatically how tough the widely varying metahumans are with a glance we can use logic to work out the rest.

For a good example, watch his fight with Ten.

  • so how did she get her powers again? by being electrocuted? lol

  • Shocked while holding superman

  • she got electrocuted through Superman the lighting ran through him and it her so clearly she got some sort of rare energy boost,I don't know the full details but its shown in part one.

  • ok 1. you got to amit that live wire is pretty hot. 2. superman is like megaman x, they always try to reason with them before they get into fights.

  • I agree.:)

purrrrrrr......you can zap me anytime livewire baby.^_^

  • what a bitch...

  • I know, but you gotta admit, she's got cool attitude and she's hot!

  • She's one quick costume designer.

  • this girl is like frekazoid

    only evil and storm like
