if you watched the show with this, the coreographer said that it was about a nightmare, ricky being the nightmare trapping alliosn. i totally loved this one because everyone has those nightmares that you just cant get away from.

This song has always spoken about rape as a little girl to me, and this dance with this song. Whoo. A little too much for me, but an amazing piece, both musically and as a dance.

Everyone who says this dance doesn't do justice to the song: 1. Seriously did you watch it or...? 2. Calm your tits. 3. There are other interpretations of the song rather than your own. 4. I'd like to see you do better.

The dance doesn't do justice to the song. The song isn't about some frivolous nightmare. It's about confronting the atrocities one faces in middle school; i.e. stick and stones and all that. also the coreography was just a mess. Too bad. Tori has dozens, if not hundreds, of beautiful soulful songs. anyone new to Tori might think she is 2 dimmensinal based on this crap

@torifan4life calm down. No one is saying the song is about a nightmare the dance is. The song suites the mood of the dance thus its use. The choreographers don't choose music because the lyrics happen to coincide with the story. They choose it because the sound suites the dance. "2:19" by Tom Waits isnt about Swamp People but it fit and was used for an amazing dance. I love Tori Amos as well and I doubt her reputation as a great musician is damaged at all by this.

First of all, really wish there was a higher quality version of this. Second of all, Tori Amos?? Nice! Third of all, Allison and Ricky was too good of a pairing for only one dance together. I loved every moment of this, the empty stage came alive because of their performances.

Ricky, like Kupono, plays such a good villain because he's a total sweetheart. RIcky, if you read this, know that you are the bee's knees- gorgeous technique, energy, and obviously, looks. LET GO! YOU'RE AMAZING!

This is just haunting! I have had it stuck on my mind for days! Tyce's best number EVER! Both dancers delivered perfect performances! It made me appreciate this song in a new way. In my opinion, it is one of the best dance routines of SYTYCD (which is saying a lot because there is stellar work that happens on the show!)

Really thought this performance was freakin' awesome. So underrated. Didn't think Tyce could choreograph in that way. Unfortunate when the two put together gets an "ok' by the judges. Needs more viewing!

I almost feel that the dance wasn't worthy of a tori song. It's just that, Tori is a goddess, so a dance that is equally amazing must be matched to it. The dance was good...but not Tori good. All in all, very good.

See i dont understand besides Marko, Ricky is THe best guy dancer on the show, and he yet he has been in the bottom 3times in a row. I could understand when he was with Ryan, but he is not and yet people still dont bother to vote for him. I will be pissed if he is eliminated before Tadd, or Jess, because i have not seen anything different from either of them. I love Ricky

@jessie3treats you haven't seen anything different from tadd?! he gets out of his style all the time! he's a bboy, and i've seen him do contemporary beautifully, i've seen him do 2 different waltz beautifully and all other dances beautifully! tadd has the personality, jess doesn't. jess annoys me to no end. people never connected with ricky before because he was with ryan, but at this point in the competition, everybody already has their favorites and i guess b/cof ryan, he's not a favorite

I wish Nigel would stop telling this tall, young man to "not be so tall" when he dances....but at this point in the competition it's a moot point. I hope he wins (or even Marko) but I don't think that's gonna happen. The judges have dubbed Melanie the winner since the audition phase.

@1robotcone3 yeah, i liked ricky too, but im so mad at the judges for always praising melanie, they shouldn't have been talking about her solo in the first place. and i thought it was rude what nigel said to tadd, they all pretty much ignored him and talked about melanie. he's just as good as a dancer as she is, if not better. they should have talked about the dance more. tadd really got into character! it was one of my fav performances of the night because of how well tadd got into character

@themusiclover137 Agreed. Melanie IS good but there are 4 other good dancers still left in the competition. Tadd is amazing and has grasped every genre. Marko has been as good as anyone and I love the way he floats when he leaps. Sasha's got that "IT Factor" and you know how I feel about Ricky. Caitlyn......she's attractive and the judges tell America (little girls included) every week. It reinforces the notion that all you need to be is attractive and things will work out for you :-(

@1robotcone3 i don't think that's true, ricky isn't the most attractive person on the show, but he dances beautifully. your looks don't effect the way you dance. and i haven't always been connected with some of the dancers, like sasha, she always put up a front, but last night she showed her vulnerable side, and i connected. to me it's not about how the person looks, it's how well they convey emotions when they dance and how they can connect with the audience, that makes a true dancer

I don't think one's looks should be a factor either....so what I was saying is that every week the judges keep telling Caitlyn and America that she's beautiful. While I agree that she is a stunner, I always say to my television :-) "what does that have to do with her performance?"

Although Melanie is my favorite girl dancer this season, Ricky is a tremendously beautiful dancer and arguably the best male dancer on the show this season. This routine was amazing and super intense. I was shocked to find out that he was in th bottom this week. If you were shocked too, let's make sure he isn't in the bottom next week!!

Ricky is really coming on in these last few shows.... good for him. He took his performance to another level in this piece. Of course, that's not hard to do when you're dancing with arguably the best dancer EVER in the show's history. Allison IS dance. Her combination of technique and performance is unmatched.

OMG. I didn't see this last night - just watched it for the first time. It gave me chills. If a dancer is given the right song his or her creativity can shine through. Allison did an absolutely amazing job. She wasn't even cognizant of anyone else - only the music flowing through her - that is dancing. Ricky showed a completely different side of himself which was so good to see!!
