Schizophrenia, Beneath the Remains and Arise are by far the best material Sepultura have ever created, and will ever create. You owe yourself the pleasure of listening to those albums. (Morbid Visions and Bestial Devastation are also good albums but far from the vast quality that is the latter works)

That's because the entire album is done with 80's Metal vocalists. He even tried to get Tom Araya from Slayer, but they couldn't work it in around their schedules in time, before the albums release.
Probot to Dave Grohl is what Nine Inch Nails is Trent Reznor, or Brody Dalle to Spinnerette. Its one key member with a rotating cast. In this case, Dave Grohl does most of the instruments, and has guest vocalists on each track.
This song is a weird and cool combo of different songs.... both from SEPULTURA and from Foo Fighters... is just.. a shit load of songs come to mind when you listen to this one... xD

I've been hesitant to get it because of Dave's involvement with Foo Fighters, a band I've always been diappointed with after his time with Nirvana. When I heard that he's forming this band back then, I was expecting to hear a Nirvana-type project with the hardcore punk influence from his previous band before he joined Nirvana, which is kind of what turned into the first 2 albums. Then he went soft on me, and I never really cared about what he did after that.

He's a good musician and he's done plenty of good things, them crooked vultures are amazing, his drumming on songs for the dead is legendary, he's a nice guy as well and you just sound like a jealous try-hard.

All that hapens between 0:45 and 51 secs is the second guitar comes in trem-picking the thirds of the chords. There is a tiny burst of microphonic feedback at 0:48, no doubt a deliberate musical choice as a way to introduce the second guitar, maybe you're ignorant enough to think that's him "hitting the wrong string" ? They play the riff 4 times of both gtrs playing chords, then it's 4x with one playing the chords and one playing the 3rd as single note. Other times they just play it four times the second way. Give up attempting to understand music, you have no hope of getting it.

I've been hesitant to get it because of Dave's involvement with Foo Fighters, a band I've always been diappointed with after his time with Nirvana. When I heard that he's forming this band back then, I was expecting to hear a Nirvana-type project with the hardcore punk influence from his previous band before he joined Nirvana, which is kind of what turned into the first 2 albums. Then he went soft on me, and I never really cared about what he did after that.
