  • Dolphins<33

  • bangin producer ,all hes tracks are great, they take my headaches away.love it

  • anjunabeats makes good stuff...very dependable. With tunes like anphonic and misgrey, can't go wrong

  • @phathomie27 Meh. Anjunabeats were better from 2000-06.

  • @IcefernoArchives true bro! to cheesy now

  • @IcefernoArchives true dat. golden years of anjunabeats.

  • @IcefernoArchives Only to '06? 2007 was its peak in my opinion.

  • @SysLocal It has some goodies in 2007, but in 2006, pretty much everything was good. Smith & Pledger - White / Black is way better than Daniel Kandi - Make Me Believe / I Found The Way. Imo, only Adam Nickey's Never Gone and some Stephen J Kroos were the highlights of 2007.

  • @IcefernoArchives For me a lot of my favorites were out of '07. Signalrunners - Aria Epica, 8 Wonders - Sex on the Beach, N2O - Morning Light, Evbointh - One Wish, etc. Then there was the 'Deep releases too. Hahmo's Sound of Sunday is my favorite track off both labels.

Whatever the case I really feel the label went downhill after the release of Anjunabeach which was late 2009. Since then there hasn't really been much I've liked, but that's just me :\

  • @SysLocal Yeah, those were good too. Although listen to DK & Mark Andrez' remix (Uplifting Trance has been exactly the same since). I also hated when Anjunadeep changed to House, cause they changed to the annoyingly overused 'Progressive House' style. Compare that to Maor Levi - Reflect / Illumina and Boom Jinx - Remember September. Very disappointing imo (but few else's, it seems).

  • @SysLocal Peak? Music is progressive, period. For a label to keep up, they too have to change. It only takes one artist to change everything - if you stay the same, you won't last. Hence progressive house, trance, whatever = Anjunabeats, Anjunadeep, etc.

  • @TheDJA4E But if you conform to everyone else, it's like you've lost your identity, your uniqueness. Is that really a good thing? 90% of Trance these days is just plain shit.

  • @TheDJA4E There is a difference between change and improvement.

  • @phathomie27 1:58...here we go

  • Love, love, love this.

  • amazing song.

There are plenty other great djs in Anjunabeats like Super 8 and tab.

  • @frenchiman55 They made good stuff in the past but I don't really follow them anymore. "First Aid" is the best.

  • @IcefernoArchives

check out Super 8 & tab - "amsterdam" remix, "can't sleep" remix, "Irufushi" original, "My enemy" original <-- new, "Perception" remix, "Won't sleep tonight" original, "Helsinki Scorchin'", "Off the World" remix.

All incredible. and this is just off the top of my head

  • @frenchiman55 I know of the Amsterdam remix (one of their best also), but I'm not into much else of their work. Suru was decent.

  • @IcefernoArchives Men,Suru was Sicc,thats Epic!!!!!

  • Like if you are stil listening to this in 2011.

  • @pwrofjoe hahah ii actually just got to know it now. definitely mind blowing

  • @rafbr19 I do that all the time! I'm like, what do you mean "still listening"? I just found it in 2011! hehehe

  • Sunday, Chordplay, Pacific , Cadence = Panacea. The best trance producer. period. even PvD cannot come up with such consistent brilliance. Oliver can never make a mediocre track even if he tried to :) to sum it up in one word - genius.

  • @dashnr Spot on. He's the best producer around at the moment, certainly the best (and imo the only good) thing about Anjunabeats. You may have to wait to hear something new, but that just means he puts more effort in, which you can certainly hear.

  • @IcefernoArchives yup he's just too good! I really don't understand who makes the list for 'top 10' djs. Oliver would blow away any competition with ease. he's gold. real unadulterated gold!

  • @dashnr They should really have a Producer list aswell as a DJ list. He and Airwave would be at the top, that's for sure.

  • @IcefernoArchives and stupid guetta is voted "world no.1 dj " Bleh . If he and Oliver stood on stage and are asked to make music then and there , Guetta can only run for cover. David guetta = commerial crap. Oliver Smith ftw

  • Check out the Sam Torrent remix. Its faster paced with more beats but just as good.

  • @PSCricket3 I had a listen. It's just a mashup of Cadence and Tomahawk.

  • Just heard this on DI.fm, freaking amazing tune!! :D

  • Incredible song! love the break ! Check that one guys: /watch?v=NeKKZb8Uhv0

  • good song, great description!!

    thanks for sharing icefernoarhives!

  • oliver's good, but nitrous oxide still has him beat ;>

  • @aylictal Nah.

  • @aylictal they are both good.

  • imo

    cadence > sunday

they are both good, but this song has a soul

  • @malvolent Cadence may have a soul, but Sunday's got soul, if ya know what I mean.

  • for that it's quiet trancy fancy, it's lèger/relaxing!

  • Starting from 2:00 this song is heaven like :)

  • good song but I only liked it from 2:10 and up. 2:10 is when the song should have started

  • from 2:15 on Oliver puts his signature :)

  • nothings changed in trance for ten years.

  • oh my god!this is the melody of the future....in trance!=)

  • oliver smith is really proving to be a great artist

  • Yes,Yes,Yes<3

  • This song is incredible!

  • its tunes like this that confirm to me that trance is the best music in the world

  • song makes me imagine me on the r6 weaving in and out of traffic

  • Absolutely amazing track, Oliver you are one of the greatest trance producers..

  • Trance is not of this world:) Neither this song). Love it

  • wasnt THAT good.. 8[]

  • @apocalypso420 It was the bomb when it was new. Then "Sunday" came out. ;)

  • You guys are way too fickle, this song is still hot as hell. Sunday is just as good but on the same plane, meaning their both equally amazing.

  • @vejet We're not fickle. We just have a different opinion from you.

  • @IcefernoArchives

    Alright, fair enough.

  • this guy is a fuckin genius

  • Sanctuary

  • tune :o moor bass! =D

  • *Sincerely hopes that the uploaded picture to accompany the song is an actual photo....that would be a beautiful spot to see....*

  • Oh and one more thing, the beginning of this song sounds somewhat similar to the break down part of Sean Tyas Feat. Logistic - One More Night Out .....beautiful piece

  • I'm pretty sure it's a photo, but you never can tell lol. I don't see why anyone would wanna fake something that nice :)

As for the Tyas resemblance. I wouldn't know. I hate Tyas' stuff :P

  • This sounds a lot like Ferry Tayle & Static Blue's, L'Acrobat in my opinion. And I love L'Acrobat, so that makes this track excellent too!

  • Yeah I can agree to some extent. The chord-strikes are similar.

  • Nice! :)

  • Under such music it is possible to depart to space

  • Comment removed

  • This song is simply biblical. One of my top 3 songs for 2009. Fucking a-m-a-z-i-n-g

  • EPIC that's all i hav to say LOVE IT!

  • Looove "Cadence"~! It's wonderful and just really, really, catchy~! Awesome upload!

  • nice :D

  • Oliver Smith - absolutely No1 producer!!! :D ;)

  • sounds a liitle bit like Buzz and Aalto - 5

still, a great tune from anjuna.. their style totally and oliver does it again

  • Yeah I can see the similarities in the bass. Cadence is a lot better than those 2 though lol

  • duno it always reminded me of above and beyond alone tonight, only more up to date

  • cadence is really catchy, way better than pacific.

  • They both have different atmospheres. I love "Pacific" for how deep and moody it is. But yeah, I prefer "Cadence" too. :)

  • @IcefernoArchives

Not that I'm being ruthless;), I love "pacific" too, it's a great track, good for mellowing out, but "Cadence" is the real deal. Anyway, great release.

  • It's alright, I get ya lol. That's why "Pacific" is the b-side ;P Something extra, something different from the main thing ;)

  • @IcefernoArchives

once again Trance brought peace&prosperity to the world;)

  • Really beautiful song! Thanks for posting!

  • oh man thanks you..been waitin for the full version of this for a loooooooong long time!!

  • You're welcome :) Oliver Smith's one of my favourite Trance producers.

  • mate u fuckin rock :)

  • ive bn waitin for this , yeah yeah yeah :)

  • oliver smith sur anjunabeats est netement meilleur !! cadence est tres bon mais le second pacific est sans doute superieure musicalement !

  • I can only assume that's a good comment :P

  • whats a b-side of a song :S? and lovely tune =D glad im subscribed =] always uploading great stuff keep it up =]

  • lol You don't know what a b-side is? It's... the other song on a single release lol. Oliver Smith - Cadence / Pacific. "Pacific" is the b-side.

  • =/ still not following haha. sorry i fell stupid for asking ^^

  • :| Ok then I really can't explain it much simpler..

  • Maybe you've had this answered, but perhaps this will help:

Say you have a vinyl album. That album has two sides, the A-side and the B-side. Traditionally, this is how singles were released, with the "popular" song on the A-side, and a previously unreleased song on the B-side. A "B-side" is a song that doesn't appear on the original album -- it serves as bonus material on a single release. So on a single album, you'll have the "hit" song and two or three B-sides, usually.

    Hope that helped!

  • ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh that makes sense! thankyou XD hahaha

  • Lol nice! Awesome upload. I love this song so much! You always uploading the best Ice. ;P And we been Trance Bro's. ;) plus of course Ima upload the full of pacific. :D Great job again. :)

  • hehe Yay :D

  • Lol, that was fast :P

Honestly a brilliant song, Oliver never disappoints :D Such a shame it's only 6:28 would have been awesome if it were 11 min :) I guess I can dream ;) Good Job on being the first to upload it :)

  • lol One can only hope for a long remix from Markus Schulz or Ferry Tayle, eh? ;D haha Yeah, it's got a literally timeless quality to it. :) And it's beautiful (ofcourse :P)

  • thanks for uploading and congrats on being the first person to upload the full track, I can tell it meant alot to you haha

  • haha Yeah. I had to be quick. It's a dog-eat-dog world out there :P
