This boss is so easy u dont need fly like him. i had a legendary phasesaber, adamantite amor, holy cross necklace, angelwings , philoph. stone , feral claws and warrior emblem. my buffs were goldfishsoup , ironskin, regenerationpotion.

just hold down the mouseboutton and place youelf on the inside of his curved body. if your health gets low use a greater potion or kill the laserballs. much easier than this method.

@D3MasterMind Well, it is possible. Adamantite armour, bowl of soup + Ironskin + Regen potions. Legendary Blue Phasesaber. cross necklace philosephers stone all accessories reforegen to +4% damage. Spam teh blue phasesaber. Done.

@SuperYente Umm... Blue Phasesaber = 2nd best sword dps in teh game. Adamamntite = 2nd best armor in the game.Infact the Adamantite armor gives more damage per hit. I'm not sure what you're doing(?)

gravitation potion, ironskin, mana regen (if using mana), shine potion, swiftness potion, health regeneration potion (strongly recommended), hunter potion (if using ranged attacks), magic power potion (if using magic), and thorns potion.

either spectre boots or wings, cobalt shield, philosopher's stone, and i guess the rest is your choice..

IF you are looking for a good item setup, ive tried many things but found magic damage to be the best. I used the Laser Rifle, reforged to godly laser rifle (dropped by Wall of Flesh). then used full adamantite armor to increase mana and decrease mana usage. full potion buffs, crystal ball, bowl of soup ext. But did most of my fighting on the ground and let him loop in circles as the laser shots from ur gun go thorugh and hit all parts as he loops around. Makes for a fast kill Pst if u need info

It's pretty easy with Crystal Storm Tome. That's what I used to kill Destroyer. After defeating Destroyer you can craft Megashark and rest of the bosses are piece of cake by then.

I beat him with this setup too the first time. After a few attempts. Having an arena of somewhat long wood platforms I found to be the key. Two of them at a nice height difference. If u don't have grav pots or wings then just make jumpers between. One thing to watch out for with hellfire arrows tho is to NOT shoot the little probes when they are close because you'll hurt yourself severely.

He fought it the Hard Way, The Destroyer & Skeletron Prime Are the easiest of the 3, for destroyer just have 50 defence and a fast melle weapon, like a phaseblade, then find some 4 tiles deep water and sit in a corner, summon him and swing like crazy, youll take less dmg from his limbs then the lasers, after drinking 2-3 health potions you'll win just from standing in the one spot

The Destroyer is easy, especially if you have certain kind of Trap-Arena's set up. Also, the Flamethrower and Crystal Storm is amazing against him, though the Magic Harp can hit for quite alot of damage if you line up the attacks right.
