i don't think there was a yjm signature w/rosewood fingerboard.

You CAN get a YJM in rosewood. This is a 1998 model (Manufactured 1997) YJM model the frets ARE scalloped and the body id not really light at all. look at the other vids and you will see.

hey man.. im no expert.. but whats helped my leaps and bounds is doing what shawn lane said... play it s fast as you can, whether it be clean or not.. then clean up your playing over time.. thats truely the only way ive found thats helpful in playing his runs and stuff.. but with arppegios and two/three string sweeps you really have to concentrate on picking technique.. watch rising force best on youtube lesson.. good explanation of sweep picking technique there. rock on bro!!

Theres nothing wrong with it, Just wouldnt say it's a tonehouds dream, I personally think theyre a little icepicky in the high freq department, allthough a good solid state amp, you would sound even better through a re-issued plexi, they are renound for their brilliant second and third order harmonics that solid state technology cannot reproduce.

Fair enough, I know its not going to give me what an all tube amp would. But, I only paid 150 for the valvestate and its lasted through 3 years of gigging without a prob and the JCM's or plexis go for 1k or higher used.

You mean the head? No I didnt wrap that, though it is cool, I bought it like that off of eBay:P not that hard to do someone just took an American flag or star pattern fabric and wrapped the grill with it then bead blasted the white Marshall logo to silver (which is under the white)
