So Unfortunate, that we do not think what we are saying! Couldn't Imam just give pledge to caliph in Madeena and avoid this all? He could. But them Islam would look like what the majority of Muslims follow today. The caravan of family of prophet SAWA went there to show the difference between real Islam and that of hypocrites! They were waiting to do their duty, as Imam had pledged to his grandfather Mohammed, to his father Ali, mother Fatima and brother Hassan PBUthem all.
