the dragon you see is the high dragon that the villagers think is the reincarnated form of Andraste, if u want to fight her in the PC version u have to kill a man named kolgrim and get the horn off him, you dont HAVE to fight the dragon if you dont want to.

If you want to fight the dragon on the console version, you have to first fight Kolgrim. Then there is a gong on the moutaintop area. Hit it and be prepared.

I don't know if anyone has read the lore yet, but there's this section called "Cantry History." It tells about the Maker's prophet/wife who was burned at the stake, and her followers collected her ashes and ran away to somewhere UNKNOWN!

And ya know... there's an urn... and that guy mentions something about being 'her' guardians. So I though "Oh my, that could be Haven!"

Than that dragon busted out and now I'm not so sure.

you need the urn to cure one of the ppl that help you against a tyrant (and coward since he fled the battlefield)

but to do that you need to search for a "brother genetivi".. eventuely you end up in the village "Haven" and fight your way to the destroyed temple where you fight your way towards the top, once there you enter a 2nd temple-ish thing where you do some tests, hope you succeed and then you take a pinsh of ashes.

but that's all for the spoiling ;)

The PC version seems VERY boring.

I haven't seen gameplay for the 360 version though, but they say it'll be a Hack n Slash type of game. Kind of like Oblivion, but with fancier moves.

So essentially gameplay just might actually be simlar to Mass Effect, possibly with the same controls. (i.e. Hold the right bumper to bring up your abilities tab, to do things like Shield Bash and Spell casting. Much like holding the right bumper in Mass Effect to do Biotic Abilities.

What, are you 4? Just because it says "Dragon Age" in it's title, doesn't mean you'd be able to play as a dragon. It means this is the age OF the dragon's existence.

Besides, playing as a dragon would be retarded. You'd be expecting an overpowered, giant, unbeatable dragon, which defeats the purpose of a good, quality game. It'd grow boring because of the easy gameplay.

Anything that is expected less, turned into games like Spyro, where they're essentially not even dragons anymore.
