Type "West Milford NJ" into the search window with the maps "satellite" view.

Zoom in towards Greenwood Lake (the long lake thats divided half and half in NJ & NY. Between the "Pine Island Property", the "Wanaque Wildlife Management Area", and the NJ-NY state line there appears to be an Alitalia twin engine jet parked on top of the mountaintop.

The landing starting @ 4:40 is Hong Kong's Kai Tak Airport which was notoriously difficult. Pilots had to line up with the runway using a red land-marker and if they didn't they had to come round again.

I was an FE/FO for 2 years/2000 hrs first, and as most people a,inst for around 2 years before my first "real" gig came around, in my case, flying a MD-83 in Lagos Nigeria. I have 2000 hrs in dc-6's again as a FE/FO in Alaska(Im from NJ), so I like to consider myself a semi-pro. When I see comments like " dumb ass pilot" and " he crashed because (insert you have no clue whatsoever here)" it pisses me off. Go get your pvt ticket. Learn basics. Then return.

I was present at the C-130 crash that's shown at 5:57. That was on Sicily drop zone, Ft. Bragg, NC. It was in the 80's but don't remember the exact date. It was a screwed up situation. The ANG pilot approched too steep for the LAPS run, bounced and went into the woodline after breaking some control cables when he bounced. The loadmaster was actually ejected from the ramp before the plane hit the woodline. Killed 4 or 5 on-board.
