When I first played NBA 2k11 I must Admit that I didn't like it. Then when I adjusted the difficulty level in the game that gave me time to understand the it and when I became more comfortable with the game the that's when I realized how great of a game it is. Most of the people that I know that hate the game never lowered the Difficulty settings to get a feel for the game. NBA 2K11 is not only the best basketball game ever but the best sports game EVER.

This game forces you to play defense and forces you to move off of plays instead of midlessly being able to drive the lane whenever you want. The CPU actually plays defense.......

Its a great game but for a guy like me who plays ranked team play all the time. Online is really important for me and yes the connection is really bad me and my crew/team however u call it only get half of our wins and a lot of losses due to connection...IN OTHER WORDS IT CANT BE THE BEST SPORT GAME EVER IF THE ONLINE IS THIS BAD.

I want to know who gave 2k11 the high ratings. My guess is the people who made it. The more I play it the more I dislike it, the movement and user control reminds me of the games of 2 years ago. Reach for a steal and watch your guy basically take himself out of the play. PC guys can basically run through screens but user get hung up. Unbelievable how you can put MJ on the game and it gets these bogus ratings. Bottom line, all the b-ball games stink,so stop fooling yourselfs!!!!!!

@sunkah the key words are "from last year." there are some issues with online play this year, but it's an improvement from 2k10.

The control is gone...how can you make a game of b-ball and not have control of your player. To much animations where as the old nba 2k focus more on gameplay which made 2k what it is .

To bad online play is still bad. Its a hit or miss.

Sometimes you don't connect to a player, sometimes you do. Sometimes you can't find a game. You are never able to play in online league or anything. Team up is is so laggy, its not even funny.

Until 2K fix their online issues, they might as well have local multiplayer only.
