Beautiful shots, but I don't see any storytelling(the key ingredient to a successful movie directing career)...glorified visual FX supervisor that will probably turn out like the others who transitioned into film directing...back to doing visual FX work.

looking at these and the trailer for tron legacy and also what Niel Blomkamp's doing with district 9, i think sci fi film making will be in good hands once the likes of Cameron, Scott and Spielberg hang up their boots

These new guys aren't even close to Spielberg, Cameron or Scott...Jaws, Close Encounters, Schindler's List, Jurassic park, Terminator, Aliens, The Abyss, Avatar, Alien, Blade Runner, Legend...these guys made classics and the new guys are making anything even approaching that kind of genius.

I love the hotel from "The Shining".It was a pleasant surprise. Hope the Tron sequel is amazing,because visually this guy has the chops to do it.
