yeh we did the same thing but on a smaller scale with worms & breathing in all that oxygen sure cured any hangover pretty quickly

i remember working in the LOX bay replenishing RAF phantom pots in the early 1980s & it certainly made me respect the stuff when they showed us this film with the poor burnt guy at the end

@andyfiggy2002 I knew a guy in the Navy that would pour pure LOX into the intake of a tug to get it to burn rubber! : ) They also used to freeze frogs on the flightline in the Philippines with it and throw them against a wall and watch them shatter like glass.

I remember watching this as a Marine PFC in Avionics training at NAS Memphis back in 1992! Glad I never had to mess with that stuff!

I work with this stuff on a daily basis in the Air Force (AFSC 2A6X6, Electrical/Environmental), and I can tell you that this stuff is always taken seriously. If you want to play with something, play with LIN (liquid nitrogen). At least that'll displace oxygen.
