  • i cant believe colin would try and show off against a legend like yip chun, hcolin is so much taller and younger than his opponent...what a bully....

  • Sifu is my teacher

  • Sifu Ward is a Great guy, Will teach everything .!

  • wow so it's the real ip man ..my dreams is learn ip chung with him

  • GM IP Chun really have very strong hands its like its unbreakable... you dont see that at anybody with that age.

  • Bernard Looi from the title "Kung Fu man from Kuala Lumpur" can beat this old man.

  • sifu colin ward is an excellent teacher and knows excactly how to get wing chun across so they can understand it

  • Lol no fair, Ip Chun's hands were too firm, it takes years to train this.

  • love this video cant wait for my class on monday now ha ha and sifu is the best teacher someone could wish for.

  • Mate, I can see where your coming from but that is respect for ability and not wanting to over commit. Also Colin just got off a 16 hour flight 2 hours before this session (I know I was there).

However its just for you to see and enjoy (if you know what is going on) If you think you are good at chi sau come down to the Leeds school and have a roll with Sifu man you will then understand the level of this guys wing chun..

    peace

  • I meant no offence mate, fair enough if he was tired and didn't want to piss him off. But there are too many people on on youtube playing the dummy. My point is, How are you supposed to know how good someone is if you don't go at them. You want to know if this guy can really make this stuff work, after all you've probably paid a lot of money to train with him. If i'm ever in Leed i will drop in, thanks for the offer.

    have a merry christmas.

  • no offense taken! nice one.. I do hear you and I have seen Shaun Rawcliff go at Ip Chun like a rabid dog!!! and he took it (wish I had it on video!) Colin is a very respectful guy and does not go at his Sifu to show others how good his Sifu is, he knows!

  • continued-more of a reunion i suppose, its just as soon as they started rolling the whole room stopped and formed a circle round them to watch (as Ip Chun is 75 he does not chi sau that much, well saying that more than any other pensioner I know...)

Anyway cool, thanks for that and yeah if you are ever in Leeds come by the school you will enjoy i assure you.

All the best and merry Christmas to you too!

  • Sorry 85 lol

  • Hi Jebus, I don't know MrBenEllis but I can tell he has a good a understanding of wing chun. His Sifu is obviously highly skilled as well. I'm sure you will learn a lot from them when you visit Leeds.

NIce post, by the way. :-)

  • @Jebus2Jebus I would say you might need to understand the difference between a teacher and a fighter.... I know what you mean but Ip Chun although great is just too old for full pressure but his skill is still 100% at this stage of his life he is merely passing on the technique to preserve the art... It's the dummies on the younger Sifu's I find funny ... Viva Ip Chun

  • @PaulConway1973 Fair point in regards to age and stuff. There are a lot of "sifus" out there charging a fortune doing seminars and openings schools everywhere. They can neither fight or teach but because they can convince people to play dumb people buy their half asses info. That's not aimed at Ip Chun or you guys...... but there are a lot bullshitters out there

  • @Jebus2Jebus I agree with you it's really frustrating to see Wing Chun fully working because people get used to letting others do their technique. I take no offence.

  • siiiiicccckkkkkkkk lopve you brov xx

  • Excellent.

  • Love it!
