Walt Disney WAS NOT an "antisemitic." This rumor has been circulated due to two issues. First, there was an attempt by Herb Serell, a notorious union organizer with alleged criminal connections threathening to shut down Disney's studio if he didn't sign with his organization. Disney supposed got into an altercation with Serell and through him through a second story plate glass window. This is one source of this rumor.

But Disney indeed employed Jewish people.

Antisemitic doesnt mean you dont EMPLOY jewish people, it means you don't LIKE them. You can't be a hollywood producer and director like Disney and not employ Jews! He had no choice! Jews run hollywood. He hated them because his father was strongly against jews, unions, and socialism. They even say his first drawings were from a Socialist magazine his father had a subscription too, he drew the propaganda pictures from it. @RogueTone The union hatred came much later. When labor was being organized, it was thought to have been there result of Communist aggitators. A study of this history might be worth researching to form your own opinion and understanding. For the good or bad of it, the gains made by unions created a fairer work environment with higher wages that built up the economy 50 and 60 years ago. We have lost much of all that, including jobs that support much of our tax base. National debt anyone?
