  • Either way you put it, it's a bit exaggerated. Until the step when you eat the cake made with honey by bees who collected nectar from flowers who collected minerals from the ground in which a chicken was buried, I assure you, there won't be anything left from that chicken. And it seems that after what you wrote, you are part of those people that think that nature is repulsive right?

  • I think I am a part of nature, so it depends ... you, asking me if I may be repulsed by nature, like the whole concept of it, is a bit exaggerated and I would add that you are being a little presumptuous; there are a lot of things which shock me when I think about nature,or even disgust me, but this doesn't make it an unnatural event or unjustified. You loose the point of my explanation by being stuck on an objective description of a dead chicken.

  • well you wrote: "At some point, it may be that some of the microscopic pieces of that disgusting dead creature with that offensive dead-chicken smell become a part of me." AND "The video-info is a frank way of putting together the concept of nature,the cycle of life and the repulsion that some people feel in regard to the way things go naturally."

    So, you are being subjective when describing the chicken and in the second statement you described yourself.

    Don't contradict yourself.

  • but this is going to far, so I'll stop here :)

  • Well, it's you who said "stop" so ...

    ( Dezgustător ≠ ademenitor, atrăgător, chemător, îmbietor, ispititor, tentant ) ...

    if you should think that a decomposing dead chicken is like that, I have nothing to say, if you already do, well ... I'm glad you said "stop" :D

    "me", like "us" is a well known form of speech when you want to relate to some of the readers;

    as for me:

    YES, I am DISGUSTED by the way some things go in nature, including the human-nature. There's no contradiction.

  • whatever :) the video was just sick anyway (in a bad way).

  • Death is a part of life and it's not disgusting at all. It's just an animal who died. Think about it this way: If someone close to you died, would you think of him/her as disgusting that he/she died? And of course the corpse will decompose and those atoms you are talking about are so small and meaningless that it wouldn't make any difference if you would or would not ingest them. And lastly, nature is perfect, we are the ones ruining it. Everything is a cycle, death can bring life to sth else.

  • nice grave !!

    We're all made of stardust ...

    Hydrogène becomes Helium which becomes .... (don't know what) > Oxygene > Nitrogen > etc... > Iron... After Iron, the other elements are made when the star explodes (supernovae).

    Also, we are what we eat...

  • thank you about the grave :P
