  • That's why I love the power of the human brain, combined with art- In someone's eye, this could be the realm of a cosmic power, an eldritch creature, a city of the future in gold and brass, an alien world covered in strange trees and lichens, a wondrous machine that may someday exist, or even a glimpse of what heaven might hold beyond the veil.

Each person sees it differently, but each person is nevertheless inspired by what they see.

    Math can be pretty cool.

  • This is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen

  • this fucking tune has been stuck in my head all week...I am now completely in love with it, like an ugly g.f who won't fuck off so you end up getting emotionally attatched to her.

  • @lordnipple check out kreidler, they made some cool tracks, althought i prefer "to rococo rot" to them... they used to be one of my fave bands in the 90s... saw them live once and - cool.......

  • music is so bad...horrible horrible headache...

  • What are your computer's specs?

  • Could someone explain this in terms of programming time, and power?

  • @markboccaccio What do you mean? Its an IFS fractal rendered with Mandelbulber.

  • put this on fullscreen and completely lost myself in it. now i feel high.

  • Such a beautiful journey. A living breathing palace of creation.

  • nice.

  • The tree looking things at 0:58 looks like hella weed :D

  • This is what the city of r'lyeh looks like

  • we need to create buildings like this...

  • superbe!! minimaliste et riche à la fois!

  • braingasm

  • amazing video! Are u creating them yourself? I am an music producer and DJ, Would be nice do a prodject with you, Visiual and Auditory travels :)

  • Broccoland!!!!!

  • ANAL

  • My eyes are rolling and I am daze. But in the good way.

  • definitely like a hit of DMT

  • Absolutely OUTSTANDING! Thanks for this :-)

  • wow, definitely one of my fav 3d fractal rendering done out there, you did a great job! i love how the focus is always on infinity , it creates a very realistic feel to it.

  • love simple form in the beginning and then the explosion of complexity

  • Nice place to visit but I wouldn't want to live there.

  • 2:27 ow.

  • chuck norris did this in minecraft XD

  • crasy broccoly garden... man am i trippin... o_O

  • I don't remember DMT.......

  • NUGGETLAND!

  • This is gorgeous...

  • wow this is amazing! Great job, I didn't expect it do go into that much detail, must have taken ages to render. Thumbs up to you! :)

  • Très belle réalisation graphique.

    MAGNIFIQUE.

    "Infiniment" merci !

  • This is very fine work. well rendered!! I really like the narrow depth of field, it adds to the impression of size to the vaults and vistas. Thanks for sharing your skill.

  • This is amazingly ODD. I dont know if watching it expanded my mind, or made me lose some of it!! F****** cool tho.

  • Awesome fly :))

  • Nice Fractals in my Channel too

  • Awesome ! How do you animate fractals in Mandelbuilder ?

  • Man, you're sick!!! This is freaking awesome!!! =D

  • How senseless it is to watch this , but it makes me to think how great computers are . Thumb up if you think this , too

  • sorry for seasick?

    brainstorm, dude!

  • someone has gotta get these 3d prototyped at some scale with a 3d printer...

  • @Padata3000 Definately!!!

  • wow worth watching thank you

  • OMFG! I never seen anything so beautiful! Awesome job.I wished I could stay in there forever lol. Am I the only one who is developing a hardcore addiction to these fractal videos?

  • @Jmsn72 no mate, you're definately not i haven't slept in 6 days :P

  • This is some of the most beautiful fractals I've ever seen. Forgive me but the music didnt do it justice.

  • My head is full of infinitely recursive amounts of fuck

  • @DonPulpito

    1. No way you have the computing power to render this in a month.

    2. You don't want to render it (boring) you want to generate similar ones.

  • this shit could be in a video game, well done!

  • @DonPulpito The answers are in the video description :)

  • wow this is amazing when your stoned... im sure its still amazing sober too lol! possibly the most beautiful fractal ive seen... reminds me of egyptian and japanese architecture

  • I liked it because you apologized for the seasickness. That was appreciated.

  • Nice animation.

The drunken camera motion kind of ruins the whole thing for me though.

  • I want to see this with 3D glasses on :)

  • This seriously frightened me . . . not sure exactly why, but a few nights of lost sleep will certainly be the order of the day. Cheers.

  • downloaded the software. its interesting

  • Nice visuals and great music. Congrats !

  • @__@ love fractals..... (seasick)

  • Definitely got a little queasy watching, perhaps a higher frame rate is in order? Loved the Depth of Field effects, how can i make my own!? :)

  • What hardware/setup did you use? How long did it take to render the vid?

  • Your videos are utterly amazing! This is the beauty of math.. You should definitely do something like this in stereo, it would be awesome to see those great depths in real 3D =)

  • you are a master ;)

  • Definitely timed right. This just screams "autumn"

  • Great animation! I actually like the camera movements, and the depth of field effect is spot on :)

  • I really like your animations, but the exaggerated un-focus effect really takes away some of the excellence here. part of the beauty of fractals is the infinity of detail, and especially the unfolding of these details as the camera moves through giant structures or zooms into them. in this particular animation, almost every time something approaches, instead of more details being progressively revealed, the whole thing disappears into a blur... a bit of blur is ok, but don't overdo it

  • @blandrys I totally disagree. The DOF makes it awesome.

  • @reallybigname I agree. It feels like your'e looking at a landscape.

  • @blandrys No, i love the depth of field used. I think it really adds to the beauty of the fractal and makes you feel as if your diving into some bizarre microscopic particle.

  • @blandrys I disagree, it's the blur and depth of field that give this video its Sense of Spac, Dimension, and make the motion so Alive. Tone them down and you lose the effect, eliminate them, and you just have a storm of sharp pixels. P.s. More details? Any more details and I think most people will throw up : )

  • @blandrys I liked the deepness effect.

  • to me, this is kind of what heaven is like. creating and exploring glorious works of the universe forever times infinity with absolutely no limitations like rendering times and processor speeds.

  • @Omegaroth Seems like in the Chronicles of Narnia. The world just gets deeper and amazing the higher level you go infinitely

  • I did a search for Mandelbulb tutorial and there none on YouTube. So there is an opportunity there to fill an empty spot. :)

  • Great render, you just need to ease off on the rotation bit.

  • Wow! the majesty of Math!

  • fantastic!! but i have to agree with veggiet2009, the rotations alonge the movement direction/axis of the camera made me a bit dizzy too

  • Good job, the ending was really nice, but there were some spots that almost made me "seasick," beautifully done!

  • Absolutely brilliant!
